The Right Wing Radical Repugnican State Legislature Just Reduced Medicaid Reimbursements By 4% More

The political cartoon above is from a time when the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill was still being debated in congress and largely ignored by the general population of our country. TRAITOR Trump, the Criminal Syndicate which supports him by posing as "cabinet", and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican party lied unceasingly to the American public in order to get the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill passed. There was total disregard on the part of millions of Americans to the obvious widespread damage the bill was intended to do to the entire country and to the overall American economy. The Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill was passed by the Right Wing Radical Repugnican majority in congress and signed by TRAITOR Trump on July 4, 2025. I am proud to say that on July 4, 2025, I was present at Rosenberg Square in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, that day as Ned Pillersdorf officially announced his candidacy for the US House in Kentucky District 5. Where were you? A key provision, literally a legislative time bomb, of the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill was that most of the damage it was planned to do was delayed until 2026 after the midterm elections. It was literally a legislative wolf in sheep's clothing and that was very intentional because the Right Wing Radical Repugnicans and TRAITOR Trump knew if they made it effective immediately upon ratification and signature it would guarantee the electoral defeat of most of its supporters. Now, the cat is out of the bag, the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill is rapidly becoming effective and the horrible damage it was intended to do to most of America and Americans has begun. But to make matters worse in Kentucky, the Right Wing Radical Repugnican majority in the state legislature has just passed, over Governor Beshear's veto, another 4% cut in Medicaid reimbursements which will make the effects of the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill far worse on Kentucky hospitals, clinics, and medical providers. Below is a map of hospitals in Kentucky which were initially placed in danger of permanent closure by the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill. What is interesting is that if we look at the point where the borders of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana meet on the Ohio River just west of Cincinatti and draw a line straight south from that point to the Tennessee border we find that 23 o the 35 endangered hospitals are east of that line. The effects of the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill were always intended to do more damage in Kentucky east of that line than to west of the line. Congressman Hal Rogers and every other Right Wing Radical Repugnican member of the Kentucky legislative office holders at the federal level voted in support of that bill. Now every member of the Right Wing Radical Repugnican state legislature has voted to remove another 4% from Kentucky Medicaid reimbursements to medicaid providers. They did that over the veto of Governor Andy Beshear. That extra 4% of income to hospitals and providers will increase the damage of the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill to a point where the number of hospitals in Kentucky which will be in even more grave danger of closure will be greater. Will it rise from 35 hospitals to 40, to 45, or even 50? We won't know until the closures start happening and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican legislators nationwide start denying their support for the Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill, and those elected at the state level start denying their support of the additional 4% cut in Kentucky Medicaid reimbursements. Very few businesses, where they are country stores, beauty shops, and family restaurants can survive a loss of 4% of their income for an extended period. It is the dream of TRAITOR Trump and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican party that those effects will be permanent. It is the dream of the Kentucky legislature in Frankfort that those horrible effects of both the Big,Vicious, Ugly Bill and their own 4% cut in Medicaid reimbursements will be permanent. None of them give a tinker's damn what you think or how their actions might affect you, your family, your family business, your aged parents and grandparents, your child with multiple medical issues,or your neighbor next door who is battling cancer or heart disease. They are happy now! They were happy the day they passed each of these highly damaging pieces of legislation! They will still be happy when your local hospital closes, or your local general practitioner decides to move to a state with a state legislauture and federal elected representatives who give a damn about their constituents, hospitals, medical providers, and citizens! Get used to it! Or get up off your ass and fight to remove every one of those Right Wing Radical Repugnicans from office for life! You have to learn to Stand Up, Speak Up, and Speak Out! You have to learn to defend yourself, your family, your neighbors, your state, and your nation. No matter how much you are hurt they will not come to your aid. The sources of their incomes and their happiness are not the same as yours. They have protected themselves and abandoned you! What are you going to do about it? Your only option is to vote, not just to vote, you have to vote the way you should have been voting all along, STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC, Every Election, Every Race!

Two Separate, But Connected Visits To Two State Capitols, West Virginia And Alabama

On two separate, but politically interconnected visits to the capitols of West Virginia and Alabama, I saw two things, one in each capitol, which showed me a great deal about the thought processes and actions of the political leaders in both states. What I saw in each capitol was connected to the sight I saw in the other in a way which was very educational for me and should have been so for anyone else who saw what I saw. The headline in this story from the Los Angeles Times tells succinctly what had happened in West Virginia. Former three term governor Arch Moore had been found guilty and sentenced of mail fraud, extortion, obstruction of justice and filing false income taxes during his 1984 and 1988 campaigns and during his third term, from 1985-89. On July 11, 1990, he was sentenced to a term of five years and ten months in prison and fined $170,000. He was ordered to serve his time in the Federal Correctional Instution in Petersburg, Virginia. I don't remember the exact date on which I subsequently made a visit to Charleston, West Virginia, and visited the West Virginia Cultural Center near the Capitol building which I have done nearly ever time I take a trip to Charleston. But I believe that visit was probably sometime late in 1990 not long after his sentencing. Arch Moore was depicted for several years in alarger than life marble bust which had sat since its original installation in the mezzanine level of the grand entrance to the Cultural Center. The bust sat against the rear wall of the mezzanine until some time after this visit, and I had seen it many times on other visits to the Capitol. As I climbed the stairs to the mezzanine and turned the corner to face the site of the bust, I saw a three sided box made of sheets of white painted plywood surrounding the area at the center of the rear wall where the bust had always been displayed. I thought "well, they removed his bust..but what have they put in its place". I walked over to the plywood box and saw that a thin crack had been left where two sheets of the plywood joined. I put my face close to that crack, and lo and behold there in the space which the plywood box surrounded was the bust still on scene after his incarceration. I laughed and walked away to finish my tour of the facility. Some months later, I returned to the Cultural Center and found that the bust was no longer there and neither was the plywood box. I have alway assumed that considering the size and weight of the huge bust, the management of the Cultural Center must have had the bust hidden until they could acquire a fork lift to lower it to the ground level of the grand entrance. The entire rear wall of the mezzanine has been used as a small art gallery ever since the removal. Google AI claims that the bust is still in the Cultural Center but I know better. I have never seen it since that sight of it hidden behind the plywood box.

In the late summer or early fall of 1993, my wife and I took a vacation to Montgomery, Alabama, where we toured three major historic sites: the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Alabama State Capitol, and the graves of Hank and Audrey Williams. Inside the Capitol, along a couple of walls was a portrait gallery of the governors of the state. This visit was shortly after former Governor Guy Hunt had been found guilty in April 1993 of misusing inaugural funds in a criminal case which bore some similarity to the Arch Moore case. Guy Hunt was sentenced by a Montgomery judge to five years of probation, 1,000 hours of community service, and ordered to pay a $211,000 fine. Naturally, he appealed his sentence. The eventual outcome of that appeals process will be discussed shortly. Hunt had been indicted on December 28, 1992, Hunt on 13 felony charges, and wound up having most of them eventually dropped. He was eventually convicted on one charge in which the prosecution claimed he had taken $200,000 out of his 1987 inaugural fund which all consisted of private or corporate political donations intended to be spent on the inaugural festivities. The charge claimed that he had stolen the money for his own personal use. When we visited the Capitol and walked along viewing the portraits of all the governors of Alabama, we came upon an empty spot on the wall between the portraits of his immediate predecessor and successor. The wall around this space was still visibly more stained by time than the rectangular area which had previously held Hunt's portrait. I have no idea where the portrait had been taken, and I have never been back in the Alabama Capitol since that single visit. The following section of Guy Hunt's biography on the internet based "Encyclopedia of Alabama" describes the ultimate actions which followed his initial conviction and sentencing:

In June 1997, Hunt won his first victory in the matter when the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles approved a pardon for him on grounds of innocence. For the pardon to be valid, however, it needed to be signed by a judge or district attorney, but no one willing could be found. Even the recently elected Republican attorney general, Bill Pryor, refused to sign the pardon, arguing that he did not believe his office held that right or power. Then in a stunning defeat, when Hunt requested that probation be terminated shortly before it was due to expire in 1998, circuit judge Sally Greenhaw extended it for five more years because Hunt had been able to pay only $4,200 of the fine and court costs assessed against him. On March 30, 1998, however, Hunt's probation was lifted when his attorney presented a check to the court for the entire balance. Sympathetic Alabamians, both Democrats and Republicans, had helped Hunt raise the needed funds. The next day, the Board of Pardons and Paroles again pardoned Hunt on grounds of innocence, and because probation had been terminated, no affirming signature was needed. The following day, Hunt qualified to run for the Republican nomination for governor.

I cannot fully decide just how similar and how different these two cases and their ultimate handling by the powers that be in West Virginia and Alabma are, but both have been forever imprinted in my memory, and both are forever connected in my mind. Two state governors from two politically (now) similar states were charged and convicted of political corruption in their states during their terms of office. The outcomes were somewhat different despite the convictions. You can make up your own minds whether either or both of these cases was/were handled appropriately. If there are political lessons to be learned from these two men and their criminal convictions, I sincerely hope all of us can figure out what those lessons are.

Kentucky Hospitals Likely To Close And Counties Without A Hospital In That Event!

Over the last few weeks, we have all heard a lot in the news media about how TRAITOR Trump's "Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill" will do myriad kinds of harm to America, especially to rural America, the lower and middle classes, hospitals, education, health care in general, vaccines and vaccine production, Medicaid, Medicare, WIC, SNAP or Food Stamps, agriculture, food safety, airline safety, the arts and sciences, and several other critical aspects of life in America. It will also add about 4 TRILLION DOLLARS to the budget deficit, and all of this damage is being done to provide vast unnecessary tax cuts to the rich, super rich, and corporations. Every word you have heard about the upcoming damage is true! The damage is intentional, purposeful, and will cost thousands of lives across this country in addition to the vast economic damage it will do. But in this blog post, I just want to address one aspect of that damage, the damage to hospitals and health care in Kentucky. Every legitimate news agency and policy analysis corporation is telling us the same thing. If the proposed cuts to Medicaid are approved (and it appears they almost certainly will be approved) thousands of hospitals, especially rural hospitals will be forced to close due to lack of income. Hundreds of thousands of the poorest, and often sickest Americans will lose their access to health care, and thousands of those people will die along with the hospitals which have been serving them. According to the Kentucky Center For Economic Policy, there are 35 hospitals in Kentucky which are likely to close on that list of hospitals. Since I first heard that dire forecast, I have been studying the issue both on my own and in consulations with others who understand the issues and politics involved. Two of the people I have discussed this with in depth are a retired attorney who spent her career in Eastern Kentucky and comes from a very politically centered family, and a retired nurse who spent her career working in one of the poorest counties in the state which does not have a hospital at this time to lose. We all agree that there are a vast number of issues that would arise for Kentucky and the nation if this Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill" becomes law. My reading of the article which I supplied the link to above shows me that the majority of the 35 hospitals in Kentucky which can be expected to be starved out if Medicaid is cut are in Eastern Kentucky. Although I generally think of I-65 as being the border line between Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky, that is not absolutely accurate. We can also take the position that I-75 is the border between the two. But for the sake of somewhat original thinking on that issue, let's say that the border is an extension of the line created by the border between Ohio and Indiana. If we go to that point on the Kentucky border with Indiana and Ohio and draw a straight line from there due south to the Tennessee border, it is as good a candidate for the border between Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky as any other. The image below is of that map showing the locations of the endangered hospitals in Kentucky from the linked story by the Kentucky Center For Economic Policy. If you use that imaginary line from the KY/IN/OH intersection, you will find that only 12 of the endangered hospitals are west of that line. East of the line are the 23 remaining hospitals which are most likely to close due to the loss of Medicaid funding created by the "Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill". God Help Us In Eastern Kentucky If That Happens!

The counties in this list will all be without a hospital in the event Medicaid funding is cut as designed in the "Big Ugly, Vicious Bill" They are Letcher, Knott, Floyd, Martin, Lawrence, Elliott, Carter, Rowan, Greenup, Lewis, Breathitt, Jackson, Lee, Owsley, Rowan, Rockcastle, Montgomery, Powell, Clark, Clay Fleming, These counties are contiguous and constitute a vast block of real estate in Eastern Kentucky which would have no local hospital. Patients in these counties would have no readily available emergency rooms, ICU's, maternity wards, or other services which require a hospital setting. To illustrate just how bizarre this possibility is let's look at some geographic possibilities which would be created. It would be possible to travel by car from Jenkins on the Virginia border to Vanceburg on the Ohio border without ever driving through a county with a hospital. It would also be possible to drive by car from Mount Vernon in Rockcastle County to Greenup in Greenup County without passing through a county with a local hospital. In addition to the loss of these hospitals, the job losses would be catastrophic in a region which is already economically distressed. Nearly all the prescribing professionals (M.D.'s, APRN's, PA's) would be highly likely to leave the region, perhaps even the state. Additionally, thousands of licensed providers such as imaging professionals, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and a few other professions would be forced to leave the region in order to find work. There would also be hundreds to several thousand unemployed food service workers, housekeeping workers, maintenance workers, clerks, bookkeepers, and security professionals. Yes, there are a couple of hospitals which might survive such as those in Pike and Perry Counties but those two counties are on the Virginia and West Virginia borders and the drive for many patients would be just too far, too expensive, too time consuming, and thousands of low income patients would be likely to not receive regular ongoing health care. One hospital not on the list in Johnson County would suddenly be the primary source of care for Lawrence, Martin, Floyd, Magoffin, and Elliott counties due to the closure of the one hospital in Lawrence County and all three in Floyd County. In legitimate emergencies and accidents, the concept of The Golden Hour for transport to an emergency room would no longer exist. Distances would be too great in many cases for an ambulance crew to assess, transport, and facilitate admission to a hospital for many critical patients in a timely, life saving manner. EMT's and other emergency responders would suddenly be traveling far from their primary service area and their numbers would, at present levels, be too small to provide both the added transport and provide the current level of services in their primary area of responsibility.

The Big, Vicious, Ugly Bill is a disaster in the making for Kentucky and many other states where multiple hospitals will be lost. The damage of this bill is deliberately designed to minimize the poor of this region and several others, to deny them medical services as are customary in a real Democracy. It is intentional! It is criminal! It must not be allowed to take place. This bill must not be approved.

The Blackest Day In American History Since April 12, 1861!

On April 12, 1861, Confederate forces fired on Fort Sumter in South Carolina which was the beginning of the Civil War. For many years, it could be considered the blackest day in American History. That is no longer necessarily true. Today, January 20, 2025, at noon has become the blackest day in American History at least since the firing on Fort Sumter. There is a perfectly rational argument that it is actually the blackest day in all American History. Today, for all time, will surpass other dates such as December 7, 1941, the date Pearl Harbor was attacked; September 11, 2001, the date of the attack on the World Trade Center; April 14, 1865, the day President Lincoln was assassinated; and October 24, 1929, the date of the stock market crash which preciptated the Great Depression. This date, January 20, 2025, the date TRAITOR Trump has managed to slink inside the White House again accompanied by the worst Criminal Syndicate ever assembled in American History, a criminal syndicate which is far more dangerous than any of the Five Families of Cosa Nostra due to the fact that this Criminal Syndicate and TRAITOR Trump have every intention of destroying the United States, American Democracy, and the entire federal government. TRAITOR Trump and his TREASON are, without a doubt, the worst case of TREASON ever documented in this country or the entire world. After having been impeached twice during his original illegal occupation of the White House, having been indicted for 94 felonies for stealing government documents and lying to the FBI about those thefts, being found judicially responsible for the rape and defamation of woman whose reputation every day of her life has been far better than his on the best day of his life, after having been the perpetrator of the worst insurrection against the US government since the Civil War, and after having been the leader of a previous lesser Criminal Syndicate whose members collectively were indicted in at least 215 cases, this worst of all TRAITORS in all of history has managed to construct the worst conspiracy against the United States in more than 275 years of lesser history. He is a far worse TRAITOR than Aaron Burr, Sacco, Vanzetti, or Aldrich Ames. He is literally the most dangerous man in the world with the single exception of Vladimir Putin, the man who actually has owned and controlled TRAITOR Trump ever since the day Russian money saved him from his casino bankruptcy. God Help Us All!

Somebody Is Murdering Democracy!

Fascism In America, Yesterday And Today!

 

Let's begin this blog post with a brief quotation from a book I am currently reading.  

"...seeping into this country by the thousands every single month...to take the jobs which rightly belong" to Americans.  "I wish to say, and I say it without the slightest hesitation--that if I had my way about it at this hour, I would build a wall about the United States so high and so secure that not a single alien or foreign refugee from any country upon the face of the earth could possibly scale or ascend it." 

Like you, as soon as I read that quote the person who popped into my head was TRAITOR Trump.  Those words sound as if they probably came directly out of his mouth in some rambling rant in front of a crowd of a few thousand of his Fascist and TREASONOUS cult members.  But that is not who said it, and it contains one major clue that it did not and could not have come out of TRAITOR Trump's mouth.  I had spotted that clue when I read it and, thankfully, so did my sister-in-law in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, when I read it to her and her husband yesterday, August 10, 2024, during a Google Meet which my wife and I do with them every two weeks.  So, the question becomes "Who said it?  Where did it come from?  When?"  The answer to those questions is both surprising and not surprising at all.  Those words come from page 220 of the book "Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism" by Rachel Maddow, and they came from the mouth of Democratic United States Senator Robert Rice Reynolds in 1941.  Maddow's book was published in 2023 and, based on her title, I hope it is intended to be a precursor to  another book about Fascism as it is currently being practiced in America.  The clue which both my sister-in-law and  I saw in the words of that quote involves the language used.  There is phrasing and there are words in that quote which would never and could never come from the mouth of TRAITOR Trump.  The sentence structure is good, solid, complete sentences. Those sentences are sometimes complex, far more complex than TRAITOR Trump could ever construct on his best day.  And TRAITOR Trump never uses complete, structured, rational sentences, and would never use words like "ascend" or "scale". He also has no ability to construct complex sentences. Those words, "ascend" and "scale" are far too abstract for his diminished intelligence and grade school vocabulary. Those words are synonyms for others such as "climb", and "top" or "mount".  TRAITOR Trump is not as intelligent or highly verbal as Senator Reynolds was in 1941.  But he is just as ignorant and just as evil. His intentions are just as destructive, potentially damaging to America, and just as unfounded as the words of Senator Reynolds in 1941. So what happened to Senator Robert Rice Reynolds?  

Since reading that highly dangerous quote from Senator Reynolds, I have done a little research on him and found this enlightening article online from Vox which, says as I did above "those words could have come straight from Donald Trump".  Vox was mild mannered and non-confrontational enough to not use my favorite and most often used adjective of "TRAITOR" to refer to TRAITOR Trump.  The Vox article also gives us an actual date of June 5, 1941, for the date of Reynolds' statement and a location for it, the floor of the United States Senate.  The Vox article goes on to say this about Reynolds: 

"Reynolds never really expected a wall to be built, however much he might have dreamed of such a barrier. And his ideas about refugees never took hold with the broader American public. Today he is all but forgotten, even in his home state of North Carolina." (Vox, "Meet Robert Reynolds, the senator who wanted to build a wall 70 years before Trump." Available at the link above on August 12, 2024.) 

The Vox article goes on to say this about Reynolds: 

 "...his story is worth retelling. It serves as a reminder of the heights American hypernationalism, anti-interventionism, and nativism reached in the not-too-distant past.It shows, too, that these are strains of American political thinking that are recycled again and again, and are often ushered in by politicians who capture America’s attention with flash over substance. Trump isn’t the first showman known nearly as much for his marital lives as for his tendency toward oratorical extremes about refugees and “criminal” immigrants. The question is whether he will be the last — or whether his legacy will inspire other political progeny."  (Vox, Same Link Above) 

I agree completely with what the Vox writer had to say about Reynolds in that second quote above.  His story is worth retelling and, most importantly, it is worth retelling because Reynolds never succeeded in building his wall.  He fell out of favor with the voters of North Carolina and only served two destructive terms in the United States Senate. He was also serving, if that is the correct word, in the senate at a time (1932-1944) when America was led by a president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who had strong support from a majority of America, control of the congress, and the acumen and courage to openly confront and control radicals like Senator Reynolds  Vox goes on to give us this description of the political demise of Robert Reynolds: 

Reynolds’s aggressive stance on immigration and deportation — and, later, his reluctance to criticize the rise of fascist dictators overseas and fascist sympathizers at home — sank his political career and erased any legacy he might have left behind.(Vox, Same Link Above)

That summation of Reynolds' fall from grace with the voters of North Carolina is a well justified end to the political machinations of such a man.  But it also points out that fact that, so far in America, a large portion of the nation has failed to reach the same accurate conclusions about TRAITOR Trump. His cult still lives and supports him. He is, totally unjustifiably, the face and the hate blackened soul of the Right Wing Radical Repugnican party in America.  He is once again trying to gain access to the White House and the power its occupancy brings to even a convicted felon, career criminal, rapist, and TRAITOR like TRAITOR Trump.   America is faced today with a pending election, just as important as the last two in 2016 and 2020, in which we can choose to vote in support of America, American Democracy, rational governmental decision making, and the preservation of constitutional freedoms or we can vote for TREASON, Fascism as practiced by TRAITOR Trump, completely irrational decision making, the continued destruction of constitutional freedoms as has happened in many states across America over the last 12 years, and the continued spread of Fascism, Racism, Hatred, and the perpetual courting of dictators, despots, tyrants, and criminals.  It is a simple decision to a rational person.  America must, once again, defeat TRAITOR Trump, pursue his criminal convictions and assure that they happen, and see him convicted, sentenced, incarcerated for the rest of his natural life in the supermax prison in Colorado with the other enemies of the country, and forgotten for all eternity except as a perpetual reminder of the damage such a worthless human can inflict on a compliant and complacent nation.  He must not be allowed to return to occupy the White House.  He must not be allowed to further damage this nation. He must be defeated and he must be proven to be the TRAITOR he is to all that is good and just in this country.  

But regressing momentarily to further discuss the Vox statement about the political demise of Senator Reynolds, let's look at the statement that  Reynolds "...is all but forgotten, even in his home state of North Carolina." That statement is not totally accurate.  In my research on Senator Reynolds, I found a page on the webpage of the North Carolina History Project which is a somewhat whitewashed biography of the senator.  While it does point out his notorious womanizing and five marriages...(And) flamboyant actions), it describes him as "A genuine believer in democracy".    A second page on the North Carolina History Project written by Will Schultz is more directly honest about Senator Reynolds and concludes by describing him as

"...controversial. Some regard him as a proto-fascist, a would-be American Hitler. Others consider him a radical populist along the lines of Huey P. Long of Louisiana. Still others dismiss him as a harmless buffoon. In Buncombe Bob, the authoritative biography on Reynolds, Julian Pleasants summed up the senator: “In short, he was a unique southern demagogue."  (North Carolina History Project, "Robert Rice Reynolds, (1884-1963)".  Available on August 13, 2024 at https://northcarolinahistory.org/encyclopedia/robert-rice-reynolds-1884-1963/). 

While Rachel Maddow in her book does not clearly claim that Senator Reynolds was a Fascist or that he had direct ties to Hitler's Nazi propaganda experts in America, she does make that connection about other subjects of her meticulous research and actually discusses how several "privately owned" or "nonprofit" agencies or entities were created in the United States in the 1930's and 1940's and were financed directly by Adolph Hitler's propaganda machine.  She discusses in several places in the book the work done by the infamous Joseph Goebbels who ran Hitler's propaganda efforts worldwide.  She also includes the following quotation from "Mein Kampf":

" The great masses, he wrote, "will more easily fall victims to a great lie than to a small one, since they themselves perhaps also lie in little things, but would certainly still be too much ashamed of too great lies.  Thus, such an untruth will not at all enter their heads, and therefore they will be unable to believe in the impossibility of the enormous impudence of the most infamous distortion in others."  (Rachel Maddow, quoting from "Mein Kampf", in "Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism", page 237. )

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Adolph Hitler and his propaganda machine worked diligently in the United States of America during the 1930's and 1940's to control and/or influence the reaction of the general American public toward the war of aggression which Germany was waging all over Europe.  We know that they worked closely with many members of congress such as Senator Reynolds to gain publicly credible routes to the American psyche.  We have also been warned repeatedly by many sources about the highly probable connections between TRAITOR Trump and Putin's Russia. Perhaps the best source of that collusion is presented by the great historian and author Timothy Snyder in his book, "The Road To Unfreedom" on page 220, and on his account on the social media website "X", formerly known as "Twitter".   On that website, Dr. Snyder, who is a distinguished professor history at Yale University, has posted a Thread under this title 0/50 Why we do think that Mr. Trump owes a debt to Mr. Putin? Here are fifty reasons. All of the facts are a matter of public record, and all of the sources can be found in my book The Road to Unfreedom.  At that link, you will find Dr. Snyder's list of 50 incidents, all documented in the public record, in which TRAITOR Trump has had interactions with Russia in which either money or influence changed hands in a manner to indicate that there exists serious, and seriously TREASONOUS relationships between TRAITOR Trump and numerous representatives of Russia including Vladimir Putin and several other Russian oligarchs.  If we know that Hitler's Nazis were able to develop mutually beneficial relationships with several members of congress during the Third Reich, why should we doubt that in this time of much more means of surreptitious communication and transfer of money such similar relationships don't exist with numerous individuals, including TRAITOR Trump, and Russia. Also, as you consider this possibility, keep in mind that TRAITOR Trump has made several trips to Russia in his life, took an international beauty pageant to Russia, has met with Putin face to face on a few occasions, and has had numerous Russian citizens living in his residential properties.  Don' ever doubt the possibility that TRAITOR Trump is a Russian agent as alleged by a retired Russian intelligence agent in this article from "The Guardian" on January 29, 2021.  TRAITOR Trump must not be allowed anywhere near the White House again to repeat the many crimes for which he has already been indicted on numerous charges.  

"Too Much And Never Enough: How My Family Created The World's Most Dangerous Man" by Mary Trump--An Older Book For Today's Times

I had read this book by Mary Trump, Ph.D, in the summer of 2020 shortly after it was published but   never wrote about it on this blog.  I sincerely wish that now, four years later, I had not been required by circumstances to write about it after all.  Mary Trump is the only niece of TRAITOR Trump and a doctoral level psychologist who has known TRAITOR Trump her entire life. While she, like every other qualified mental health professional in America, has never been afforded the opportunity, or necessity, of doing a full psychological or psychiatric examination on TRAITOR Trump, she has a lifetime of experience in close contact with him as a member of the extended family and knows far more than enough about him to form a legitimate professional opinion about his serious mental illness. This book was a moderate best seller in 2020 and deserved to have been a greater success in the market place and to have been much more seriously regarded by the general public especially as they walked into a voting booth.  It is a book which should be required reading for every voter in America today four years after its publication.  The title says a great deal about how Mary Trump regards her TREASONOUS uncle.  Since shortly before the book was published, Mary Trump has devoted most of  her life to helping America fight the existential battle against her uncle.  She states in the book's first few pages that her uncle has serious mental health problems which are indicative and diagnostic of one or more serious and seriously dangerous mental health disorders.  

"Does Donald have other symptoms we aren't aware of? Are there other disorders that might have as much or more explanatory power? Maybe. A case could be made that he also meets the criteria for antisocial personality disorder, which in its most severe form is generally considered sociopathy but can also refer to chronic criminality, arrogance, and disregard for the rights of others. Is there comorbidity? Probably...He may also have a long undiagnosed learning disability that for decades has interfered with his ability to process information." (Mary Trump, "Too Much and Never Enough...", pages 12-13)

That pretty much hit the nail on the head didn't it?  Let me state for the record that I have also worked as a mental health and substance abuse therapist for over twenty years although I am now retired from that profession.  I was a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky during the years in which I practiced and also served for a few years as an adjunct instructor in the same graduate school program in which I received my Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Development.  I concur with Mary Trump wholeheartedly. As TRAITOR Trump rose to illegitimate power with the assistance of Vladimir Putin's Russian hackers, I believed, like Mary Trump, that he meets the diagnostic criteria for antisocial personality disorder but most other mental health professionals who have spoken out on that subject have refrained from actually saying out loud that he is an antisocial personality disordered person.  In my opinion, that fact has been influenced greatly by a long history in mental health treatment and diagnostic circles of never giving that diagnosis to anyone except criminals of the most dangerous and generally well documented kind. But what crime can be worse than TREASON with your country's most virulent enemies such as Kim Jung Un and Vladimir Putin, or stealing documents from the White House and refusing to surrender them when ordered to by the agency with jurisdiction over them?  TRAITOR Trump manifests serious mental health disorders every time he opens his mouth in a public setting. He is also a pathological liar and has one physical, subconscious behavior which is a dead giveaway every time he is telling a lie.  When he does that little, odd head bob to one side or the other, it is a dead giveaway that he is lying.  Mary Trump is not remotely the only qualified mental health professional to speak out about his serious mental illness.  Dr. Bandy X. Lee, M. D. edited a book entitled "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" which was written in individual articles by 27 of the best, most experienced, and most respected psychiatrists in America.  "Rocket Man: Nuclear Madness And The Mind Of Donald Trump" was edited by John Gartner, Steven Buser, and Leonard Cruz in 2018.  That book is composed of 23 chapters, an introduction, and an afterword with the individual chapters having been written by an equally well qualified group of expert mental health professionals and military experts.  That book was specifically addressing the overwhelming danger of allowing an individual with TRAITOR Trump's overwhelming, and overwhelmingly dangerous, mental disorders to have access to the nuclear arsenal of the nation.  I will write about it further when I have finished reading it.

Now, let's get back to Mary Trump's excellent book.  if you would like a little indicator of how much I value this book, consider that I had passed on my original copy to a family member who also passed it on to another reader.  Hopefully, that copy is still making a journey around the country through multiple readers' hands until it becomes dogeared, begrimed, and beloved by more than one reader.  After having given away that first copy, as this election became more and more ominous, I chose to pay for another copy in order to read it again and write about it until we are no longer endangered by the TREACHEROUS subject of the book.  I began this discussion of Mary Trump's book with a quotation from it's early pages.  Now, let's conclude this discussion of the book with another quotation from its final pages.  This quotation refers to TRAITOR Trump's refusal to take any action to mitigate the oncoming Covid 19 pandemic after he was warned multiple times in January and February 2020 that the pandemic was coming to America and could devastate the country.   

"Donald's initial response to Covid-19 underscores his need to minimize negativity at all costs.  Fear--the equivalent of weakness in our family--is an unacceptable to him now as it was when he was three years old...Donald didn't drag his feet in December 2019, in January, in February, in March because of his narcissism; he did it because of his fear of appearing weak or failing to project the message that everything was "great", "beautiful", and "perfect".  The irony is that his failure to face the truth has inevitably led to massive failure anyway.  In this case, the lives of potentially hundreds of thousands of people will be lost and the economy of the richest country in history may well be destroyed.  Donald will acknowledge none of this, moving the goal posts to hide the evidence and convincing himself in the process that he's done a better job than anybody else could have if only a few hundred thousand die instead of 2 million." (Mary L. Trump, Ph.D, "Too Much And Never Enough: How My Family Created The World's Most Dangerous Man", pages 207-208.)

Now, let's remind ourselves that Mary Trump's book was published on July 14, 2020, and in today's publishing world, it is likely that the last time she had an opportunity to edit her text could have been a few months before that.  So, she had no idea at the time that she wrote the words "if only a few hundred thousand die instead of 2 million" that Covid 19 would actually kill almost 2 million innocent victims of her uncle's murderous inaction.  Her figures were pretty far off, but her accuracy in understanding and stating his willingness to allow his personal mental health impairment to facilitate hundreds of thousands of innocent deaths in America was right on target.  This is a book which every American voter should be required to read before ever stepping into a voting booth again.  You can find good, clean, used copies of the book quite cheaply on most used book websites; and, if you local library isn't influenced by Right Wing Radical Repugnican book banning, you can probably find a copy there.  Read it!  Study it!  Realize that it is factual and use it to influence your voting decision in November 2024.  

 

"Enough" by Cassidy Hutchinsion, An 'Almost Mea Culpa'

 

 "I had started my job with the belief that my colleagues and I were doing something important for the country. But when the "president" I had served wholeheartedly persuaded his supporters to reject the legitimacy of a free and fair election, I knew he was leading a dangerous assault on our political ideals and governing institutions for no other purpose than to soothe his injured pride." (Cassidy Hutchinson, "Enough" pages 353-354)

When this book was initially released, I decided that I wouldn't bother to read it.  But after I read Liz Cheney's fine book, I changed my mind and ordered the book based on the numerous compliments Cheney gave to Hutchinson based on their multiple contacts during the work of the January 6 Committee. In another relatively minor "three degrees of separation" connection, I have a cousin who is an employee of Christopher Newport University where Hutchinson received her degree.  They say they never actually had any contact with her on campus but did remember her from her time there without any particular opinion of her, either good or bad.  As I read the book, I found myself disgusted pretty thoroughly during the first half or so of the book due to her persistent use of the adjective "President" in reference to TRAITOR Trump.  It is a word which I never have and never will use to refer to TRAITOR Trump who is the ultimate recipient of the self-centered largess of Vladimir Putin and Russia in the form of his hackers having helped steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton  with a total margin of just a little over 80,000 votes in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan combined.  He is a TRAITOR, a Russian Agent, and a clear cut threat to democracy so long as he is alive and able to further incite his cult members.  It will take at least fifty years of good, honest, democratic government to undo the moral and ethical damage he and his supporters have done to America, American Democracy, and democracy worldwide.  

Finally, as I read further between several necessary breaks from the misled praise of TRAITOR Trump, I found that Hutchinson did gradually come to her senses while working in the White House and struggled in her soul with the necessary psychic shift which was required for her to finally realize just how much damage he and his cult were doing to the country.  The first occasion I remember when I began to believe that Hutchinson was actually in the process of making that psychic shift was when she says in the book that TRAITOR Trump "...lacked the empathy to deal with the Covid epidemic".  But, over the course of her time inside the White House, she reached a point in that shift to enable her to initially testify in camera to the committee and then to agree to the public testimony which has now made her famous.  She developed what seems to be a meaningful and mutually respectful relationship with Liz Cheney which gave her the courage to eventually take the big step and cut her ties to the attorney which what she calls "Trump World" had provided for her after the insurrection and domestic terrorism of January 6, and search until she found other high level attorneys who have guided her through her final testimony sessions with the committee, the isolation she suffered afterward from the people inside the White House and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican party who made her a pariah in the circles in which she had previously moved.  She is obviously an intelligent, hard working, loyal woman who found herself in a position where her heartfelt version of patriotism could not be reconciled with a group of TRAITORS, domestic terrorists, and insurrectionists who were willing to overthrow the US government and murder Mike Pence in order to satisfy their TREASONOUS leader, TRAITOR Trump.  She also developed a relationship with Alexander Butterfield, the elderly former Richard Nixon aide who had disclosed to investigators that a White House recording system existed which eventually led to the downfall of Nixon.  She describes reading Bob Woodward's book, "The Last of The President's Mean", which tells Butterfield's story, and being deeply affected by Butterfield's morals which led to his being able to take a step in 1973 which was very similar to the one she had to take in 2021to testify against the occupant of the White House in order for each of them to be able to face themselves in the mirror.  

In my title to this blog post, I used the phrase"An Almost Mea Culpa", and I believe that Hutchinson came up a bit short of actually admitting that while she worked in the White House she was also partially culpable with TRAITOR Trump and those who perpetrated the January 6 insurrection and domestic terrorism for the outcomes of that crime including the deaths of five people.  That is a long step which I doubt that she will ever take.  This is a book which is worth reading but only after the prospective reader has read Liz Cheney's fine book, reread the US Constitution, and carefully studied a high school civics book.  

What Scares Me This Halloween!

 Today is October 31, 2023, and in 7 days Kentucky voters will go to the polls to elect all the statewide officials from governor and lieutenant governor to secretary of state, attorney general, state auditor, all the way down to commissioner of agriculture.  Those officials will be in charge of state government for the next four years along with the already elected state legislature which is arguably one of the worst Right Wing Radical Repugnican state legislatures in the nation which is nearly always as bad or worse than the legislatures of the worst run states in the nation, Texas, Mississippi, and Florida.   We have been truly blessed in Kentucky to have the best governor in America for the last four years and he was our attorney general for the preceding four years.  Governor Andy Beshear has been the one thing that has protected and saved Kentucky from the incredibly destructive actions of the other elected officials both in the legislature and in the lesser statewide constitutional offices.  In this election, Governor Beshear is opposed by the worst attorney general in the state's recent history, Daniel Cameron, who has worked daily for the last four years to destroy constitutional freedoms in Kentucky, to robe the state's public school children of funding in order to give that money unconstitutionally to private religious based schools in clear violation of the Seperation of Church and State.  Cameron is joined on the Right Wing Radical Repugnican ticket by a group of equally dangerous, destructive, and unfit candidates.  Those candidates include the current secretary of state Michael Adams who under a purported effort to "improve voting in Kentucky" has worked daily to make voting more difficult for Democrats, disabled, and minorities.  Actually, none of the current slate of Right Wing Radical Repugnican candidates in Kentucky are any better than Cameron and Adams.  They are all dangerous and unfit.  

Thankfully, in nearly all polling in the governor's race, Andy Beshear has been leading the polling by somewhat comforting numbers.  But polling can be deceiving and a great deal of Right Wing Radical Repugnican polling and the companies which conduct is deceptive, goal directed to paint a false picture of actual political trends and geared to assist whatever candidate, party, or political action committee is paying for it.  It is generally not empirical and is almost always goal directed instead of directed toward achieving an honest assessment of the voters' opinions on statewide issues.  This is a very dangerous election for many reasons: 1) the Repugnnican candidates are totally unfit to hold any position of public trust at any level; 2) voters, or at least a large portion of voters in Kentucky are both politically naive and willing to swallow any lie a candidate tells them which they believe fits into their particular set of likes and dislikes.  We are facing the possibility that an unfit Right Wing Radical Repugnican governor and an equally unfit under card of statewide candidates could be combined with what is already the worst possible state legislature.  If they gain control of all three branches of state government the damage they will do the the state in the next four years will be equal to that already done by their equals in Texas, Florida, and Mississippi.  It is imperative that Democratic candidates must be elected in this election in Kentucky.  We must, for the sake of the young, elderly, ill and infirm, people of color, LGBTQ, and all other minorities, reelect Governor Andy Beshear and give him an under card of equally competent statewide officials if we are to keep Kentucky as a functioning democracy.  Go Vote on election day, Tuesday, November 7, 2023!  VOTE STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC, Every Election, Every Race!  Help save this state from the most unfit slate of candidates the Right Wing Radical Repugnican party has ever put forth in this state. 

America's Ongoing Flirtation And Toleration Of Unfit Presidential Candidates

 

For many years, virtually since the beginning of this country, we have had a long list of totally unfit candidates run for the highest office in the land, guardian of the free world, President of The United States, and this year, heading into the 2024 presidential election cycle is no exception.  In 1856, just prior to the Civil War, when the issues which led to the war were building in the country, Millard Filmore who had ascended to the White House on the death of Zachary Taylor and proved himself to be totally unfit ran on the American Party ticket.  Filmore held office as a member of the Whig Party, their last leader, and then became the candidate of the American Party, known fondly as the Know Nothing Party, perhaps the most appropriately named political party in the history of the world, and pushed their anti-immigration platform.  Thankfully, Filmore lost and it is likely the history of America regarding both slavery and the Civil War turned out in far better hands in the long run.

In 1924, Robert LaFollette of Wisconsin ran on the Progressive Party ticket and garned about 16 percent of the vote in an election which was won by Calvin Coolidge who never amounted to much himself.  We will never know if the country could have been better off and, perhaps, have avoided the Great Depression which resulted because Herbert Hoover and the Republicans won the next election in 1928.  It is likely that, if LaFollette had served two terms, the country might not have been worse off than having Hoover serve one with it's resultant economic collapse, Hoovervilles, Hoover Boxes, and starving citizens all across the country.  

In 1948, South Carolina Governor Strom Thurmond running on a segregationist platform received about 2% of the total vote and America chose to retain Harry S. Truman as president after he had finally ended World War II by dropping the atomic bombs on China after succeeding FDR.  There is little doubt that Thurmond was far less qualified than Truman. 

In 1968, Alabama Governor George Wallace took up the segregationist banner after the US Supreme Court forced the racial integration of public schools across the country with the Brown vs. Board of Education case which still today is one of the most important and necessary cases ever heard by the Supreme Court.  

In 2000, it is highly likely that the candidacy of Green Party candidate Ralph Nader diverted enough votes from Vice President Al Gore to allow George Bush to win the White House.  Nader, who might have been very good for the country and its conservation policies had absolutely no foreign policy experience and was a far less qualified candidate than either Gore or Bush.  But his 2.8 million votes, which statistically seem to have come primarily from self-described Democrat voters allowed Bush to benefit from the highly suspect recount in Florida which set up the reprehensible Gore vs. Bush decision by the US Supreme Court which allowed Bush to ascend to the White House.  

In 2008, the Radical Right Wing Repugnican Congressman Ron Paul ran for the White House on a platform which could have set social justice back a hundred years and lost soundly to President Barack Obama who led the country in eight of the most progressive years in the history of the country.  Sadly, today, the poorly qualified son of Ron Paul, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul holds a seat in the US Senate and still espouses many of the asinine idea of his father and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican Party.  

Since that election in 2008, nearly every presidential election has been loaded with Right Wing Radical Repugnican candidates who are grossly unfit to hold any position of public trust at any level including a second successful run by Ron Paul against Mitt Romney who can arguably be said to have been the last sane Republican to run for president.  

The 2016 presidential election was a total disaster for the country due to the fact that the Right Wing Radical Repugnican TRAITOR Donald Trump was able to illegally occupy the White House after being strongly aided by his Russian Owner Vladimir Putin whose computer hackers were able to steal about 80,000 votes total in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan and literally steal a US election.  Today, he is already under indictment for having stolen a treasure trove of classified documents from the US government and is facing much more serious indictments in his unsuccessful insurrection of January 6th 2021, after he soundly lost his second consecutive election against President Joe Biden.  It appears higly likely that he will turn out to have been the worst TRAITOR in the history of the world.  

And, yet, the perpetual flock of unqualified, misled, and often larcenously motivated candidates continues to crop up.  The Right Wing Radical Repugnican Party has a long list of candidate headed toward 2024 who range from the mildly dangerous to absolute lunatics such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.  The only arguably qualifed among their long list of candidates is former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson whose politics is just as far to the right of center as any of the others.  The only good thing that can be said about this list of volatile candidates is that none of them has been indicted for crimes against the US government as their front runner TRAITOR Trump has.  

 

Yet, the Democratic Party is also sporting their own resident lunatic, Robert Kennedy, Jr. who is a rabid anti-vaccine ranter whose own relatives regularly speak out against his ignorance and insanity along with the great majority of Americans.  

Someday,  perhaps, the US will find a way to legally and appropriately prevent lunatics, Russian spies, common criminals, and even TRAITORS from being able to run for the highest office in the land.  Until that day comes, all we can do is vote consistently for the party which has had the lowest number of unqualified candidates in history, the Democratic Party.  But we must also realize that this year and Robert Kennedy, Jr. prove that even the Democratic Party is not immune from having  a resident nut.  

A Year To Be Moderately Thankful For!

 

Ever since June 16, 2015, America had little to be thankful for until the results of the November 2020 presidential election were finalized and President Biden was sworn in and the nation was once again in safe hands after four years of having a TRAITOR living illegally in the White House based on his TREASON with Putin and Russia.  But, after the election was settled, we were still due to face an act of Insurrection, Domestic Terrorism, and TREASON on January 6th, 2021.  The consequences of that act on January 6th are still playing themselves out both in the nations law enforcement and judicial communities and it will be at least 20 to 30 years before the end of the appeals, prison sentences, and further insurrections play themselves out.  America will continue to suffer for at least another generation due to the TREASON of TRAITOR Trump.  The moral, ethical, and legal damage which has been wrought on the psyche of the nation will continue to be serious damaging for at least a generation.  Many of the individuals who have been participants in all those acts of insurrection, sedition, domestic terrorism, and treason are currently raising children who have been exposed to the arcane, violent, and deeply destructive ideas of their parents, just as all parents deeply affect their children's thinking, and those children are likely to carry on their parents' traditions of ignorance and violence for years to come. 

But on November 8, 2022, this country and a majority of its voters delivered a message to TRAITOR Trump and his many co-conspirators that we will not accept that kind of insurrection, terrorism, and treason.  In the best electoral performance in about 40 years by the party of a sitting president, the Democratic party has held onto control of the US Senate, actually gaining one seat and possibly two based on the pending outcome of the runoff election in Georgia, and nearly held control of the US House.  But the House was lost by just a few seats and the Right Wing Radical Repugnicans and other co-conspirators of TRAITOR Trump will assume control of the US House in January 2023 and will do everything in their power to obstruct the positive works of President Biden and the Democratic party. They will end the incredibly important work of the January 6th Committee and do everything they can to destroy any evidence it has gathered on the insurrection and any other crimes of which the committee members have become aware.  They will bury the TRAITOR Trump tax returns which the US Supreme Court has finally just ordered to be released to the House Ways And Means Committee if TRAITOR Trump even delivers those tax returns before the new congress assumes control in early January.  I am betting that TRAITOR Trump will simply refuse to deliver the returns and will bet that the wheels of justice will run too slow for him to suffer the legal consequences of any criminal referral which the current chair of the House Ways And Means Committee might send to the justice department by the end of the year.  Both he and Kevin McCarthy, a proven co-conspirator, will do everything they can to prevent the truth from ever coming to light about the insurrection of January 6th. It is highly likely that several of the very members of congress who are suspected of assisting the terrorists of January 6th will now assume key positions in the very congress their previous efforts sought to obstruct and destroy. 

But, the newly appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith will also have a lot to say about the January 6th insurrection, the clearly treasonous attempts to overturn the 2020 election, the theft of highly classified documents from the White House and the high likelihood that they were passed on to Russia and/or other foreign actors who are opposed to the very existence of the United States.  The fact that the White House and the Department of Justice are in the hands of Democrats and Jack White is on the job are one of the major events of the past year that we have to be moderately thankful for.  It is no accident that when the FBI sought the warrants that  led to the discovery of hundreds of US government documents in the hands of TRAITOR Trump at Mar A Lago that the law cited in those warrants was the Espionage Act.  It is no accident that Jack Smith, the person chosen by Attorney General Merrick Garland is an experienced war crimes prosecutor who is accustomed to dealing with and successfully prosecuting rouge government officials all around the world.  The case against TRAITOR Trump has always been about TREASON and Russian Espionage.  Jack White and the team he is assembling to conduct this investigation and prosecution will track the story to its logical end.  They will indict TRAITOR Trump for every crime which they uncover and, at the very least, it will include the crime of mishandling and illegal possession of classified government secrets.  It is also highly likely to include TREASON and espionage for the sale or uncompensated transfer of those documents to Putin and Russia and is just as likely to include crimes committed during attempts to sell those documents to other foreign countries, especially those countries which either have or are seeking nuclear weapons and the technology related to them.  And no one should ever forget that the list of such countries includes Russia, North Korea, Iran, and Pakistan.  Thankfully, Jack White and the staff he is assembling, with the assistance of the entire US intelligence community, will pursue all possible crimes to the logical ends of the investigations and they will successfully prosecute all offenders.  

We are also incredibly blessed to have control of the US Senate which will stop many of the efforts of Kevin McCarthy and his co-conspirators to destroy the goals of President Biden.  A bicameral legislature is one of the greatest inventions of early political strategists and the American Founding Fathers in particular.  That concept has saved this country from many mistakes over the past two and a half centuries and there is no doubt it will save us from many as long as Kevin McCarthy is Speaker of the House and Democrats retain control of the White House and US Senate.  

We are also greatly blessed by the fact that, in general, voters all across the country had the wisdom to elect Democratic US Senators and Congress members,  state officials including governors, secretaries of state, and state attorneys general.  In Michigan and Arizona, in particular, we won nearly every office and that delivered a strong message to people such as the Right Wing Radicals who plotted to kidnap and assassinate Governor Whitmer.  We are blessed to have her in office in Michigan.  Nevada reelected US Senator Masto.  Arizona elected a Democratic governor, two US Senators, and most of the other officials in the election.  Now Georgia is faced with the decision to reelect Senator Warnock or to elect a markedly, terrifyingly incompetent and unqualified opponent.  In Georgia, the effort to elect Hershel Walker to the US Senate is a clear cut litmus test about just how deeply damaging the Right Wing Repugnican Party is willing to be in order to gain another vote in congress.  Walker is definitely the most unqualified candidate to ever be nominated for a senate office in this country.  

But two years ago, Georgia stepped up and did the right thing for the state and for America.  I believe they will do it again in the senate runoff election.  Yes, we have had a year for which we can be moderately thankful.  But we have also had a year in which the potential damage to America and American Democracy was as high as it has ever been since the times of Benedict Arnold.  We must continue to fight against TRAITOR Trump and his co-conspirators until they are all in prison where they should have been many years ago.  We must continue to fight to elect Democrats in every office in the country.  Literally, we are in the fight of our lives to save America and American Democracy.  Thank God, we won most of the important battles of the past year. 

Stochastic Terrorism In America!

 

Stochastic Terrorism is defined as "the public demonization of a person or group resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted".  Stochastic Terrorism is being committed in America every day and the source of the most serious portion of that terrorism is the illegal occupant of the White House.  Stochastic Terrorism results in hate crime attacks on members of targeted minorities all across this country.  Rampant ignorance about targets of Stochastic Terrorism is being spread like wildfire by the primary source of that terrorism, his appointed co-conspirators, and hundreds of  thousands of other voluntary co-conspirators who believe his lies.  

 

 

 

This week in Lansing, Michigan, at least 13 Domestic Terrorists were arrested in a plot to storm the state capitol, kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer, place her on "trial for treason", and eventually kill her.  These people were known members of a group called "The Wolverine Watchmen" had conducted surveilance on the governor's vacation home and had, at one time, talked of using up to 200 men to attack the state capitol.  The group had been infiltrated by FBI agents and large numbers of recorded conversations and telephone calls had been obtained detailing the plot along with other acts of terrorism which the group wished to perpetrate.  The two leaders of this terrorist group had been involved in public protests with at least one elected county sheriff in Michigan.  Dar Leaf, the sheriff in question, has refused to disown the group and was a vocal opponent of Governor Whitmer's active interventions into the Covid 19 pandemic.  That action should tell you that this sheriff is also a Domestic Terrorist and should be charged. 

 

 

 

The question which  many people are asking about this incredibly treasonous and violent plot is "how could this happen in America" or "why are people in America engaging in such domestic terrorism".  There is a simple answer to such questions: a Domestic Terrorist has been allowed to live in the White House for nearly four years and, as a pubic figure, has been engaging in Stochastic Terrorism for at least 5 years.  At least since, Gretchen Whitmer began her run for governor of Michigan in 2018, TRAITOR Trump has often, randomly, unduly, and falsely attacked her because she has not only opposed him and his TREASON,she has publicly opposed him and always been correct and on target in her negative assessments of him.  Immediately after this plot was announced and the 13 people arrested by the FBI, TRAITOR Trump attacked Governor Whitmer again without saying one negative word about the Domestic Terrorists who had just been arrested for plotting her kidnapping and murder. TRAITOR Trump has variously attacked nearly every elected Democratic official in statewide offices, Democratic senators and congress members at the federal level, and even attacked retired Democratic officials in his efforts to incite such groups to acts of violence.  

 

 

 

The most often stated support of American Domestic Terrorists by TRAITOR Trump has always been the occasion after the Charlottesville, Virginia, murder of an innocent protestor when he stated that there were good people "on both sides of the protests".  Yet, somehow, a major portion of the American electorate was willing to ignore these blatant occasions of Stochastic Terrorism from TRAITOR Trump against non-violent protestors expressing their constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech, ongoing Stochastic Terrorism against Democratic office holders, candidates, and activists.  Anyone who utilizes their right to free speech, public assembly, or freedom of the press to question the motives, actions, or intentions of TRAITOR Trump has always been a target for his virulent rabble rousing and Stochastic Terrorism.  Finally, his TREASONOUS actions have reached a point in their consequences that only the most ignorant or uncaring Americans can ignore them any further.  It is long past time for the decent, law abiding citizens of this country to stand up against TRAITOR Trump and his Stochastic Terrorism, his TREASON with Russia, his burgeoning insanity, his crimes against humanity, and his complete incompetence in a job to which he was not legally elected.  Impeachment failed because he had 51 Right Wing Radical Repugnican co-conspirators in the US Senate.  Now, the only option is to vote STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC, elect Democratic officials nation wide, and support them in the necessary work to ensure that TRAITOR Trump is not allowed to incite civil war in the nation, ensure that he is removed by force if necessary from the White House on January 20, 2021, guarantee that he is indicted, convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned for life for his crimes against this nation and the entire human race.
