The Terrible Destructive Work Of The Kentucky Legislature In 2022
It is truly tragic that, at a time when we have the best governor in the United States in Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear, we also have one of the three worst state legislature in the nation. The Kentucky state legislature has passed more destructive, unjustified, Right Wing Radical legislation in the current, nearly finished session than has been passed in Kentucky in the last hundred years. The legislature has passed numerous bills with the intent to hamstring the governor's ability to deal with the worst national and statewide crisis in many years. They have passed legislation intended to steal public education money from the school children of the state and give it to Right Wing Radical charter schools which will often, if not always, have connections to some of the most conservative churches in the nation. This particular legislation is a clear cut violation of the Separation Of Church And State clause in the US Constitution. There will be numerous legal challenges to nearly every piece of legislation which this legislature has passed the Right Wing Radical Repugnican Attorney General Daniel Cameron will waste millions of tax payer dollars to defend them when, if he had the best interests of the state in mind, he would challenge them himself. But this attorney general is, and always has been, a major part of the problems in Frankfort. He is simply one more cog in the Right Wing Radical Repugnican political machine constructed by Senator Mitch McConnell and owes his political existence to Mitch. The entire slate of statewide officers in Kentucky, other than Governor Beshear and Lieutenant Governor Coleman are part of the problem. Until we vote with the best interests of the entire state in mind and return statewide Democratic control of public offices this state and its citizens will suffer greatly.
In the upcoming 2022 elections, we have the opportunity to begin to correct the electoral mistakes of the past 20 years and defeat every Republican who is running for office. We must elect Democrats to every office. We must reverse the great majority of the legislation which has been passed by the state legislature in the past several years. And we must never again make the mistake of giving control of statewide offices and the state legislature to Right Wing Radical Repugnicans.

Great Political Banners In Appalachia
Jack became career Army and later career Army Corps of Engineers and is now retired as am I. He lives in a very rural part of Lawrence County Kentucky and recently sent me photos of two political banners he has erected on his property beside the state highway. I love these banners. They say at least part of what needs to be said about the ongoing political, moral, ethical, and legislative disaster which has been transpiring in America since January 20, 2017. Here are the photos. Feel free to share them anywhere you desire on social media or otherwise. But please give photographer and creator credit to Jack D. Terry.

Right Wing Radical Repugnican Vote Buying With Federal Money
House Speaker Pelosi has stated to the press that the House will consider the bill. Her official statement said: “House Democrats will now review the final provisions and legislative text of the agreement to determine a course of action.” Based on what I have seen in the news media, the bill appears to be in many ways both a giveaway to several segments of business and a blatant attempt by #MoscowMitch McConnell, TRAITOR Trump, and the Repugnican party to buy votes with federal money. It also includes a provision for most lower and middle class citizens to receive a payment of $1,200 for each adult and an additional $500 for each child in a household. But the publicized economic thresholds for eligibility to receive this cash subsidy actually extend all the way to $99,000 per individual and $198,000 per couple with an additional $500 per child per household thrown into the deal. Those numbers are far too high to be realistic. Any single person making $99,000 per year or any couple making $198,000 per year who are in financial trouble now are simply in that condition based on prior bad management of their money and not primarily due to the Corona Virus. It would have been far more rational and effective if the income limits had bene lowered to something near $50,000 per individual and $100,000 per couple and then added the money saved to the payments to those lower income families up to about $4,000 or $5,000 per family and $700 per child in each household. This issuance of federal financial assistance to suffering famiies is a good thing on the face of it; but, it is still an attempt to mitigate anger toward TRAITOR Trump, #MoscowMitch McConnell, and the Repugnican party due to their having so horribly screwed up the response to the Corona Virus pandemic. It is simply an attempt to apply a Bandaid to family suffering which is greater and to buy votes with federal money from those recipients who are gullible enough to fall for the lie and the bribe. Ever since this issue of possible federal financial assistance has been discussed, I have suggested that all of us who are financially stable and receive a check immediately donate the amount of that check to one of the following entities: the campaign office of the Democratic presidential nominee, the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee, the House Democratic Campaign Committee, or the national Democratic party in order to help regain control of all three branches of government.
