Mass Population Movements And William Faulkner

I am in the process of reading "The Unvanquised" by William Faulkner. As I sometimes do, I found a quotation in the middle of the book which I am compelled to write about today. This is that quotation below:

"...he nor they could not have known what it was yet it was there--one of those impulses inexplicable yet invincible which appear among races of people at intervals and drive them to pick up and leave all security and familiarty of earth and home and start out, they don't know where, empty handed, blind to everything but a hope and a doom."

"The Unvanquised" the book from which I drew that quotation is a fairly well known book by William Faulkner which was published in 1934, minety-one years ago, long before anyone on earth imagined that Russia and Ukraine would now be more than three years engaged in a war of aggression which was started, perpetrated, and perpetuated by Vladimir Putin and Russia, no one else. As a result of that war, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens have been forced to feel one of "those impules inexplicable yet invincible which appear among races of people". As a result, just as Faulkner in his book was describing the mass exodus of African American slaves from the defeated south after the Civil War had ended. But Ukraine is not now, and has never been defeated in the last three plus years of this war. Yes, many of their people have become refugess for a variety of reasons within the greater reason of having been faced with the possibility of death if they remained in Ukraine. They have picked up and left all security and familiarity they have ever known, started out empty handed and blind to everything except a hope of a safe future in some other peaceful country and the overwhelming and inexplicable doom they have known quite well ever since the day Putin declared his war of aggression and invaded their country. They have traveled to dozens of other countries around the globe, some simply to cross the borders of Ukraine into Poland or another much safer European nation. Others have traveled across the planet and hundreds of thousands of them have come to America over the years of war chasing that hope. From January 20, 2021, until January 20, 2025, those people who came to America had that hope while living in a country which was compassionate, welcoming, and rational in its approch to them and their forced exodus from home. Now, from January 20, 2025, their hope has been destroyed and, once again, all they can see is that doom which they fear so justifiably. America is now in the hands of the worst TRAITOR in the history of the world, TRAITOR Trump who is working daily to attempt to force Ukraine and its democratic government to surrender to their attacker and surrender much of their country, their land, and their hope to that attacker, that dictator Vladimir Putin and to his Russian Agent, the TRAITOR Trump.

I was stunned as I read that quotation above from William Faulkner and realized just how applicable it is to the treachery of TRAITOR Trump who has abandoned ever promise the United States made to the Ukrainian people and their democracy in order to support his Russian master. Just a few days ago in Alaska, the world watched as TRAITOR Trump kowtowed to Vladimir Putin and his design to destroy Ukraine and its democracy. We watched the world's worst dictator being welcomed to American soil by the world's worst TRAITOR and would be dictator, TRAITOR Trump. We watched as the two of them attempted to decide the fate of a sovereign nation and its people without a single representative of their interests in the room. We watched the attempted murder of the nation of Ukraine in order for TRAITOR Trump to appease and attempt to legitimize his Russian owner. Just yesterday, we watched the President of Ukraine being ignored by TRAITOR Trump as he disembarked from his plane at the airport in Washington, DC, after TRAITOR Trump had rolled out a red carpet for their would be destroyer and dictator in Alaska. But Ukraine does have allies across Europe in several countries, the European Union, and NATO. But can Ukraine and their supporters actually win this conference room war against them? We don't know. But what we do know that they cannot win it if the American people also surrender to Putin and TRAITOR Trump. We must not do that. We must support Ukraine and their fledgling democracy. We must be the nation our Founding Fathers intended us to be.

TRAITOR Trump's Attempted Appeasement And Attempted Legitimation Of An International Terrorist And War Criminal

This meeting in Alaska is all about APPEASING and ATTEMPTING to legitimize an INTERNATIONAL TERRORIST and WAR CRIMINAL who has an arrest warrant from the World Criminal Court at The Hague. It is also phase two of the TREASON which occurred when TRAITOR Trump in 2017 brought a Russian ambassador and a purely Russian film crew not just into the White House but into the Oval Office. There were no American media crews at that meeting. There are at this meeting, but just think for a minute that this is the military base where Russian flights into US territory are monitored and intercepted. Putin is being accorded full treatment as a foreign leader on a diplomatic mission which means he will have a full detail of Russia's finest with him. You can bet every one of them is an expert on Russian intelligence gathering practices, probably all are FSB officers. The big Q is just what will they know about that military base which they have been unable to learn from satellites and communication monitoring. He's being set up to commit further spying just as he was when the ambassador and his crew were allowed into the Oval Office.

American Democracy Is In Grave Danger!

"Democracy is a poor system of government at best; the only thing that can honestly be said in its favor is that it is about eight times as good as any other method the human race has ever tried. Democracy's worst fault is that its leaders are likely to reflect the faults and virtues of their constituents--a depressingly low level. But what else can you expect? (Robert A. Heinlein, "Stranger In A Strange Land", Unabridged Edition, page 232.)

"On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by an downright moron." (H. L. Mencken)

Those two quotations above tell us all we need to know about the present incredibly dangerous and destructive events which are being perpetrated by the current occupant of the White House, TRAITOR Trump, who literally personifies all that H. L. Mencken and Robert A. Heinlein had to say in those two quotes. While Democracy is the greatest form of government ever created by the human race, it is a system whose very nature causes it to fall prey to dangers which lie within the system of electoral politics which is inherent in a democratic government. For the simple minded, I find it necessary to say that the word "democratic" in the preceding sentence is used in its most generic form. While I am a proud and dedicated lifelong member of the Democratic party, I do admit that there have been times when elected representatives of the Republican party have provided the country with a democratic government which usually functioned in the best interest of the country, the human race, and the world at large. But today, since January 20, 2025, TRAITOR Trump and the Criminal Syndicate which he has managed to install in power after the tragedy of the 2024 election have been working daily, hourly to destroy America, American Democracy, Ukraine, Iceland, Greenland, the Panama Canal, NATO, and literally all forms of democracy in the world today. We have seen a Criminal Syndicate placed in positions of power while posing as a "cabinet". Literally none of these so-called cabinet officers is worthy to hold any position of public trust at any level. This Criminal Syndicate is composed of a Convicted Felon, TRAITOR, Russian Agent, Serial Rapist, Career Criminal, Tax Cheat, and Idiot at its head, one former heroine addict, another accused sex offender or two, a woman who shot her hunting dog because she didn't like the way it hunted, a wife beater whose own mother called him the same to his face, and a motley collection of other miscreants, misanthropes, and idiots. We are seeing thousands of dedicated career employees of the United States government being fired without cause, and many of those firings are coming in departments where the absence of qualified professionals literally creates untold danger to our very nation. Homeland Security has lost at least 400 employees and many of them are intelligence analysts, translators, and undercover agents whose work is necessary to defend our democracy from any future attacks such as September 11, the USS Kohl attack, and January 6, all of which were grave assaults on democracy. Others of the 17 total US intelligence agencies are also losing hundreds of professionals whose lives and careers are dedicated to preserving democracy itself. The Pentagon is also losing hundreds of civilian workers who do the same kinds of work in support of US military forces. We have seen five seperate plane crashes in this country in the last month and the worst of those was apparently in part because air traffic controllers were being fired and one person was attempting to do the job of two when that plane crash happened. The NIH, CDC, and othe agencies working in the area of public health are losing hundreds of workers.The US Department of Health and Human Services has been placed under incredible risky by having a former heroine addict and the world's worst anti-vaccine idiot in charge after his entire extended family stood up in public to tell the entire world that he is incompetent to be in the position he has been given. The FBI is in the hands of a man who has said publicly many times that he wants to destroy the agency. The ambassador to France is the convicted felon father of TRAITOR Trump's son-in-law who is apparently on a mission to attack France because the government of that ally is being run by the man who helped President Biden expand NATO and support Ukraine in their war against the aggression of Vladimir Putin and Russia. A group of young highly questionable computer hackers are now, under the disguise of being government employees, attacking the computer security systems of literally every government agency in the country. And they are being directed and controlled by Elon Musk who is holding billions of dollars of questionable NASA contracts where the lifelong employee at the head of that incredibly important agency was immediately removed becasue he was actually doing the same high quality job he had for his entire career. Just as the two quote above say, democracy's leaders now "reflect the faults and virtues of their constituents--a depressingly low level" and the "White House is adorned by a downright moron who is attempting to destroy our most important strategic alliances in support of his Russian owner Vladimir Putin. NATO, our most important strategic alliance, is under attack by TRAITOR Trump and his Criminal Syndicate which places both Ukraine and all of Western Europe in danger. Literally the world is falling apart due to TRAITOR Trump and his Criminal Syndicate and nearly half the country don't understand the nature of the danger and cheer him on. GOD HELP US ALL!

Somebody Is Murdering Democracy!

A Few Basic Truths About The 2024 US Election!

 

1) TRAITOR Trump is just that, nothing more, nothing less, a TRAITOR! 

2) You can bet your ass that Putin already has demanded, and will receive, repayment for everything he has done for TRAITOR Trump over the last forty years just as he did from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021.  

 

3) The very same hypocrites and TRAITORS who claimed that President Biden was too old and senile to be president are singing "Happy Days Are Here Again" because they supported a 78 year old TRAITOR who can't construct a complete sentence.  

4) It will be a miracle if America and American Democracy survive the next four years.

5) Even if TRAITOR Trump were to die in his sleep tonight, the same danger in a slightly more intelligent form would remain in the form of J. D. Vance who is just as criminal, just as much a TRAITOR, and just a little bit smarter than TRAITOR Trump.

6) I will continue to fight TRAITOR Trump and those who support him on a daily basis so long as he walks free and endangers this country and worldwide Democracy.  So should you!  If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!

"Rocket Man: Nuclear Madness And The Mind Of Donald Trump", edited by John Gartner, Steven Buser, and Leonard Cruz,

 

This book was published in 2018, and edited by John Gartner, Steven Buser, and Leonard Cruz.  It is just as important, perhaps even more important, today as it was was on the day the first copy rolled off the presses.  I will repeat myself from an earlier post about a book called "How Democracies Die" by Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt.  As any intelligent, well read, politically aware American knows instinctively, this book would not have been written if TRAITOR Trump had never occupied the White House.  I have to admit that I have not read the entire book but have read key chapters and independent, unbiased reviews of the book.  This has been necessary due to both the speed with which we are approaching the most important election in American History again, just as we have been in the two previous election cycles and, because I have far too many books to important books to read and write about before the date of the election on November 5, 2024.  

This is a unique book because it was written in separate but existentially connected chapters by the authors, a cross section of mental health professionals and nuclear weapons and military experts.  This method of having several chapters written by different experts on the topic at hand was also utilized by Dr. Bandy X. Lee, M. D.; M. Div. when she edited the very important book, "The Dangerous Case Of Donald Trump".  These could not be more important books at any time other than today with the 2024 presidential election coming just six days from now.  Any well written and well reviewed which attempts to warn the American electorate of the dangers presented by TRAITOR Trump, his owner Vladimir Putin, and those who support his TREASON, is an important book today.  I am certain that there are several others which I have not been able to read and write about and, perhaps, even some of which I have not learned which are equally important if they share these authors' common goals of warning the electorate, protecting the country, and educating the reader about the dangers TRAITOR Trump presents every day he walks free.  

John Gartner is a doctoral level psychologist who previously taught at Johns Hopkins University.  Leonard Cruz, M. D. is the co-founder of the Asheville Jung Center and a practicing psychiatrist.  The third co-editor, Steven Buser, M. D., is also a co-founder of the Asheville Jung Center and a practicing psychiatrist  They pulled together a fine group of military and psychiatric experts to co-author the book.  Major General (Ret.) William L. Enyart, a former Illinois congressman, and a graduate of the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.  Gordon Humphrey was a United States Senator from 1979 to 1990.  He served on the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees.  These individuals are just a few of the more than two dozen highly qualified authors of the chapters/articles in the book.  Collectively and individually, they are people whose opinions should be sought at times of potential nuclear crisis in America and the world.  

Now, let's look at just a few examples of what they have to say about the danger TRAITOR Trump presents to the country and the world.  Chapter 4 of the book is written by David Reiss, M. D., and entitled "If Trump Were a Policeman I Would Have to Take Away His Gun".  The second sentence of his article tells you nearly everything you need to know about TRAITOR Trump which the anxiety producing title does not.  "If I were being asked to evalute Trump's fitness for duty as commander in chief there are behaviors that would trouble me."   But Dr. Reiss goes even further when he says this: "If Donald Trump were a police officer who had been referred to me for a Fitness-for-Duty evaluation...my recommendation would be removal of the officer from any position of responsibility pending a complete evaluation."  

Chapter 5 from Major General (Ret.) Enyart  is just as blunt in its title: "If Trump was entering the Military, he would not recieve a Security Clearance." He is even more blunt in the article in which he discusses the possibility that TRAITOR Trump could be or could have been the target of a Russian "honey pot trap", an offer of free sex from a beautiful woman who would be working with or for Russian intelligence agents, a common practice in their tool box. I quote from the article: "President Trump has shown a remarkable lack of judgment."  I quote further: "Knowing Trump's well-publicized sexual behavior, it seems unlikely that he could refuse such a tantalizing offer [an offer of sex, a honey pot trap].  "...if Donald Trump were undergoing a standard security clearance investigation, any credible suspicion of such kompromat would be enough to sink his application.  Period."   

Chapter 17, written by Bard Larsen, has an equally provocative title, "Is Donald Trump A Fascist?".  It concludes with this sentence "...America will have to reinforce the democratic institutions and repair the divided society and broken public discourse Trump has sought to destroy."   While Larsen does not flly answer the key question he presents in his title, he also did not have the amount of information on his topic in 2018 when the book was published.  Bard Larsen had never heard former Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley say in a recorded interview with Bob Woodward that “No one has ever been as dangerous to this country as Donald Trump.  Now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is the most dangerous person to this country.”  

This book is a bit dated.  TRAITOR Trump had not said and done many of the things at the time the book was published that he has said and done in the intervening six years.  He had not been convicted of 34 felonies or indicted, but yet untried, for 60 more.  He had not ordered police to tear gas non-violent protestors in front of the White House.  He had not stated publicly that he "would only be a dictator on the first day". Yet, the group of outstanding psychiatric and military personnel who wrote this book had already found enough evidence to say in print that TRAITOR Trump was unfit to hold any position of responsibility, not an acceptable candidate for a security clearance and, definitely, not a fit candidate to be the commander in chief.  Read the book no matter what happens on November 5, 2024.  Regardless of what happens in the election, TRAITOR Trump will always be a threat to America, American Democracy, and the entire world so long as he walks free.  And, God forbid, if he wins that election, no one in the world will be safe until he is held responsible for both the crimes he has committed in the past, and for any crimes he will commit in the future. 

Have You Ever Called Vladimr Putin? I Never Have!

 

 As pre-release copies of Bob Woodward's new book "War" were sent out in advance of its October 15, 2024, release date, nearly every legitimate, ethical news agency in the  nation began to report on some of the most important revelations the book contains.  Most of those news stories were similar to the one which PBS ran on October 8, 2024, one week before the book's release.  I quote from that story below: 

"Donald Trump has had as many as seven private phone calls with Vladimir Putin since leaving office and secretly sent the Russian president COVID-19 test machines during the height of the pandemic, Bob Woodward reported in his new book “War.”"  (PBS via AP, October 8, 2024.  https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-had-as-many-as-7-private-calls-with-putin-since-leaving-office-bob-woodward-writes-in-new-book )

I received my copy of the book on October 19, 2024, and have not read the entire book yet.  I am currently snowed under with a pile of new books on my "To Be Read" shelf, and was forced to simply use the index to check all the book's references to both TRAITOR Trump and Putin, the man who has owned him for forty years.  The book is stunning in what it says about TRAITOR Trump and his deep connections and indebtedness to the worst dictator in the world. You must also consider who Bob Woodward is when you examine what he says in this book.  Bob Woodward, along with Carl Bernstein, was responsible for breaking the story of Watergate which resulted in the end of the political career of former President Richard Nixon.  Woodward has been a fixture in Washington, DC, and world politics and literature since the early 1970's. He has published about 20 other books in his career, nearly all have been best sellers, and his integrity has never been questioned.  His reputation is impeccable.  If he prints it, it is a fact!  But what I find stunning is not that TRAITOR Trump was maintaining contact with Vladimir Putin.  For years now, a large number of other honest, ethical journalists have been telling you and the rest of the world that TRAITOR Trump is just that, a TRAITOR.  I have published on this blog numerous discussions of other books by other writers about the thousands of crimes of TRAITOR Trump.  He is a TRAITOR, nothing more, nothing less, and he has been for at least forty years.  But I have known several retired military personnel in the last 10 to 20 years who have all been saying exactly what I have been saying.  We have universally believed that for some long period of time some covert channel of communication existed between TRAITOR Trump and his Russian handlers who were probably not Putin until after Putin and Russia managed to steal the 2016 election and place TRAITOR Trump inside the White House.  Timothy Snyder has actually compiled and posted a list of 50 times TRAITOR  Trump was involved in exchanges of power, money, or influence with Putin and Russia. I have quoted and cited numerous authors over the last 9 years who have said the same thing.  In this blog post, I quoted the entirety of page 220 of Timothy Snyder's excellent book "The Road To Unfreedom" in which Snyder provides another long list of the incidents in which TRAITOR Trump has interacted with Russia, Putin, and other Russian agents.  What Bob Woodward tells us in his new book is nothing new! It just comes from his contacts with a different source, an employee of TRAITOR Trump who spilled the beans.  And when we consider if Bob Woodward knows how to develop and utilize a source, just remember that he and Bernstein were the men who got a Deputy Director of the FBI to divulge what he knew about Richard Nixon's crimes, to become known as Deep Throat, and to admit it publicly before his death.  If Bob Woodward says it, he can prove it.  

So now let's look at what Bob Woodward is saying about TRAITOR Trump and his contacts with Vladimir Putin.  First, let's look at the second half of the allegation from the PBS story quoted and cited above, that TRAITOR Trump sent Putin "COVID-19 test machines during the height of the pandemic".  Woodward discuses that fact on page 33 of his book in this manner: 

"President Trump had secretly sent a bunch of Abbott Point of Care Covid test machines for his personal use as the virus spread rapidly through Russia.  "Please don't tell anybody you sent these to me," Putin said to Trump.  "I don't care", Trump said. "Fine."  "No, no," Putin said, I don't want you to tell anybody, because people will get mad at you, not me.They don't care about me."  (Bob Woodward, "War", page 33.)

Then on page 98 of "War", Woodward writes directly about an interview he had with TRAITOR Trump at Mar-a-Lago:

"Putin respects me.  And I respect Putin. I think Putin likes me.  I think I like him.  I do like him", Trump concluded.  "Bob Woodward, "War", page 98.)

And there we have another repetition of the kind of ignorance contained in TRAITOR Trump's famous Love Letters to Kim Jung Un.  His desire to please a dictator, especially a dictator whose banks saved him from financial disaster many years ago, is the ruling element in his psyche.  Woodward begins chapter Seventy-Five of his book on page 356 with the discussion of the phone calls TRAITOR Trump has had with Vladimir Putin since leaving the White House on January 20, 2021.  This discussion of the telephone calls is what shocked much of the journalistic world since, after leaving the White House, even a legitimately elected president, which TRAITOR Trump never was, cannot conduct, or attempt to conduct foreign policy with legitimate world leaders without the clear approval of the sitting government.  It is a clear cut violation of The Logan Act of 1799.  It is a felony under federal law.  Here is what Woodward has to say about those telephone calls: 

"In early 2024, a Trump aide loitered outside the former president's office.  Trump had sent the aide out of the room so he could have what he said was a private phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.  According to Trump's aide, there have been multiple phone calls between Trump and Putin, maybe as many as seven in the period since Trump left the White House in 2021.  When I asked Trump's campaign aide Jason Miller, in July if he knew about phone calls between Trump and Putin, Miller's answer was, "Um, ah, not that, ah, not that I'm aware of."  Is Trump able to talk to Putin now? "I'm sure they know how to get in touch with each other," Miller said."  (Bob Woodward, "War", page 356.)  

A little farther down the page, Woodward says, "The Logan Act makes it illegal for private citizens to negotiate disputes without the clear authorization of the sitting US government."  And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the problem!  Traitor Trump has clearly committed multiple violations of The Logan Act.  It is highly likely that in the process of those violations he has also committed multiple violations of The Espionage Act. And, without a doubt, he also committed violations of the Sedition Act during his involvement in and orchestration of January 6.  But additionally, we need to ask ourselves this: "if he has maintained regular contact with Vladimir Putin, the most dangerous enemy of the United States, in addition to having stolen and lied to the FBI about hundreds of classified federal documents, what has he passed on to Putin from the contents of those documents".  As a citizen of the United States of America, you need to accept the fact that TRAITOR Trump is an agent of Russia, a TRAITOR, and an existential threat to the existence of American Democracy.  And you need to vote accordingly on November 5, 2024. 

 

 

 

TRAITOR Trump's Fixation With Penises Is A Symptom Of His Mental Illness!

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, TRAITOR Trump shocked a few million more people worldwide who did not already understand that he is not only strange, WEIRD, or odd, but also seriously mentally ill. He managed to shock those new people by speaking during a campaign about the supposed large size of the penis of the golfer Arnold Palmer, and delivered that speech in Palmer's hometown.  His mental illness has not just happened overnight this year.  His mental illness and absolute mental unfitness to hold any position of public trust at any level has been widely written about and discussed by mental health professionals at least since 2017 when "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" was released by Saint Martin's Press and became an instant best seller.  It was written by 27 of the best, most experienced, most respected psychiatrists and mental health experts around the nation, and edited by Dr. Bandy X. Lee, M. D. who, at the time, was a professor of psychiatry at Yale University.  She has since left Yale to become director of a program at Harvard.  In 2018, the book "Rocket Man: Nuclear Madness And The Mind Of Donald Trump" which was edited by John Gartner, Steven Buser, and Leonard Cruz, and written in much the same type of format at "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" in individual chapters by  a broad assortment of experts in the fields of psychiatry, nuclear weaponry, and some other areas of military expertise. The co-editor John Gartner is the founder of Duty To Warn, a professional organization dedicated to solving the conflict between  professional mental health worker's duty to warn when people present great danger to others and the professionals' responsibility to honor clients' right to confidentiality.  That book was focusing simply on TRAITOR Trump's unfitness to be in charge of the nation's nuclear arsenal.  But it is just as important an assessment of his totally compelling psychiatric instability as the Lee book. I have been remiss in not having already written about the book by Gartner, Buser, and Cruz, et. al.  I hope to be able to do so before the rapidly approaching election.  Additionally, in 2020, TRAITOR Trump's niece Mary L. Trump, Ph.D, a clinical psychologist who has known TRAITOR Trump all her life, released the book, "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created The World's Most Dangerous Man".   Dr. Trump's book is a much more personal book than the other two since it is based on a lifetime of contact with TRAITOR Trump in family settings and she has had a great deal more contact with him than the other authors although it can be said that her contacts were not in a professional setting.   

 

As a retired mental health and substance abuse professional, I can assure you that none of the authors of these three books were even mildly surprised that TRAITOR Trump lapsed into a bizarre rant about Arnold Palmer's mythical penis or that he claimed that penis  was of gigantic proportions.  What TRAITOR Trump said about Palmer's penis in his speech was, according to CB News: 

"He was an incredible man, he was an incredible champion, and he came from Latrobe," Trump said.  Then his comments appeared to go off script. "This is a guy that was all man," the former president said. "This man was strong and tough, and I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there, they said, 'Oh my God, that's unbelievable.'" Apparently, many people, both professionals and laymen, were surprised that TRAITOR Trump said such things.  But the Yale professor of history and author Timothy Snyder documented in his 2018 book, "The Road To Unfreedom" that TRAITOR Trump has expressed previous fascination with speaking in public about penises.  On page 271 of Snyder's excellent book, he has this to say about these bizarre speeches by TRAITOR Trump and their connection to Putin and his hero, the Russian political philosopher Ivan Ilyin: 

"Like his Russian patrons, Trump portrayed the presidency of Barack Obama as an aberration.  Along with RT, Trump promoted the fiction that Obama was not an American, an idea meant to strengthen the  notion that "the people" are whites.  Like Putin with his monkey imitation, like Ilyin and his obsession with jazz as white emasculation. Like Prokhanov with his nightmares of black milk and black sperm, Trump dwelled in fantasies of black power.  When Trump won the presidency, Kiselev exulted that Obama was "now like a eunuch who cannot do anything."  Trump was the only presidential candidate in American history to brag publicly about his penis.  His white supremacist supporters called Republicans who would not support Trump's racism "cuckservatives."  The reference was to the pornographic meme of a white husband, cuckold to a white wife, who watches her perform fellatio on a black man.  To sexualize the enemy was to make politics into biological conflict, and to trade the hard work of reform and freedom for endless anxious preening."  Timothy Snyder, "The Road To Unfreedom", page 271.)

When we examine TRAITOR Trump's public exaltation of Arnold Palmer's mythical and supposedly gargantuan penis under the light provided by the fifty plus professionals in the books I have cited and quoted above, we get a much more clear understanding of the likely thinking which justified his penile rant.   It is most likely that TRAITOR Trump who sees both Kamala Harris and all those of us who support her as "the enemy" he is making an attempt to hold Palmer and his mythical penis up to the world as a heroic pair of figures which can protect the white people he sees as his supporters from all his other imagined evils which, in his overwhelming mental illness, he sees as the evidences and works of "the enemy".  He is a sick man, a VERY SICK man, a seriously mentally ill man who, even if he were totally sane, would still be unfit to hold any position of public trust at any level.

TRAITOR Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Their Relationship!

 

I have written several times on this blog about the deep, unbreakable relationship between TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin.  I have also written several times about the incredible writing and honest reporting of Yale University history professor Timothy Snyder.  This link will take you to several posts about the work of Timothy Snyder who, in my opinion is the greatest historian and author of history and political science based books we have in America today.  Timothy Snyder does a far better job of explaining or illustrating the dangerous and TREASONOUS depth of the relationship between the two.  Every voter in America should read Snyder's books "On Tyranny" ,  "The Road To Unfreedom", and "On Democracy".  All three are among the most important books in print in America today.  And all three are on the list of books that TRAITOR Trump, his campaign staff, and Vladimir Putin hope that no American will read.  The reasons for that is that the books are honest, accurate, well documented history of the danger TRAITOR Trump presents to both America and the world. 

Since I began writing this blog post, an incredible story has broken in the news media about TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin.  Bob Woodward has just released a new book called "War"  in which he writes about information provided to him by a TRAITOR Trump staffer who stated that TRAITOR Trump had provided Covid equipment to Putin secretly very early in the pandemic while he was doing nothing about the onrushing US pandemic. The book also reports that TRAITOR Trump has made at least seven telephone calls to Putin since the inauguration of President Biden and would sometimes tell staffers to leave the room since he had "to have a private conversation with President Putin".  This book, written by one of the men responsible for the Watergate disclosures which ended the presidency of Richard Nixon, has made allegations which should ensure that TRAITOR Trump is prosecuted for violations of both the Logan Act and the  Espionage Act.  This is just one more "smoking gun" about the TREASON of TRAITOR Trump.  It is absolute proof of what I and dozens of other intelligent writers and politicians have been telling the world about TRAITOR Trump for many years.  HE IS A TRAITOR OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY VLADIMIR PUTIN AND RUSSIA!  Based on what Bob Woodward has said in his book, you cannot defend TRAITOR Trump on any level.  He must be prosecuted ! He must be convicted!  He must be imprisoned for the rest of his life!  This country is not safe so long as he is alive and outside a maximum security prison.  Below is just  a portion of the story as it has been reported by CBS News: 

"Even after leaving office, Trump has stayed in touch with the Russian president, according to Woodward. An unidentified aide told Woodward the former president had as many as seven private calls with Putin — although Woodward noted he was unable to speak to Trump or Putin to verify the calls happened, and he was wasn't able to confirm the calls through the Trump campaign or intelligence sources.  But according to the aide, one of the calls came early this year, when Trump was urging Republicans to block additional aid to Ukraine to help the country's fight against Russia.  The newly revealed contacts raise additional questions about Trump's relationship with Putin. In a recent presidential debate, Trump twice refused to say who he wanted to prevail in the war between Russia and Ukraine." (CBS, October 8, 2024) 

This is damning information from a journalist who has moved within the circles of world power for over fifty years and whose work with Carl Bernstein led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, the successful prosecution of the Watergate figures, and has made both of these men household words in America and the world ever since.  Woodward's ethics and honest are impeccable and unimpeachable.  This is, or should be, the last nail in the public coffin of TRAITOR Trump and his collusion with Vladimir Putin.  I am certain every US intelligence agent in the world has now been directed to follow this story to whatever sordid place in which the ultimate truth of it is hiding.  It is about Espionage!  It is about TREASON!  It is about TRAITOR Trump's collusion with the worst enemy the United States of America has in the world!

In a slight aside, let me say that if you want to understand the nature of the relationship between TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin, all you have to do is study and come to understand the body language in the photograph above.  It was shot at the G7 Summit in Helsinki at the press conference after TRAITOR Trump had just met with Vladimir Putin in a meeting without US interpreters.  He came out of that meeting with the above hangdog face while Putin was trying hard to stifle a grin at whatever they had just said to each other.  In the press conference, TRAITOR Trump disputed the findings of all 17 US intelligence agencies and stated that he believed Putin when he said that Russia had not interfered in the US election. That photograph, that meeting, that relationship, and that lie from TRAITOR Trump have been discussed many times in many places by thousands of journalists, US intelligence agents, common US citizens, and nearly every world leader since then, and almost universally by everyone who has ever rendered an honest opinion about it, it has been assessed as being a photograph of an American minion of the Russian president telling a lie to please his owner.  The most honest of all those opinions and the best documentation of proof to support his opinion about that relationship has consistently come from Timothy Snyder, both on his Twitter or X account and in his several books about the rising specter of Fascism in the world today.  It has also been discussed many times by other historians and journalists in their writings.  This is a CNN article on the topic from June of 2018.  This is a 2021 article from the New Zealand Herald discussing TRAITOR Trump's insistence three years after the news conference that he still believes Putin over US intelligence.  

TRAITOR Trump, Putin, Ukraine, and Putin's Dream Of A Eurasian Empire

 

Over the last several days, TRAITOR Trump has made numerous claims that he could "end the war in Ukraine even before I took office".  But there is a great deal of deception, misdirection, dishonesty, and outright lying in those statements.  Two days ago, on September 27, 2024, President Zelenskyy deigned to meet with man, other than Vladimir Putin, who presents the greatest danger to Ukraine and the very existence of democracy both in Eastern Europe and the United States of America.  I have no idea why President Zelenskyy would bother to hold such a meeting when the very existence of the country he has protected for the past several years is at stake.  After the meeting, TRAITOR Trump did as he always does in any situation, and tried to make himself look the answer to a problem which he is totally unfit to be involved in.  He said, in part, "We’re going to work very much with both parties to try and get this settled and get it worked out," Trump said, standing next to Zelenskyy while speaking to a small group of reporters ahead of their closed-door meeting. "It has to end. At some point, it has to end. He’s gone through hell. His country has gone through hell."    Like everything which crosses TRAITOR Trump's lips, there are just enough nuggets of near truth in it to mislead the naive listener.  Yes, at some point Putin's War Of Aggression against Ukraine must end, and it must end with a free, democratic Ukraine which is how it began.  TRAITOR Trump went on to make the outrageous claim that he and President Zelenskyy "have a very good relationship, and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin."  There is not and never has been a legitimate reason for anyone to believe that TRAITOR Trump and President Zelenskyy have anything near a positive relationship.  But the nugget of near truth in that second quotation from TRAITOR Trump's press conference after the meeting is that fact that he has "a good relationship with President Putin."   If you want to see how positive TRAITOR Trump's relationship with Putin is just look at the still photograph below of the two of them at the notorious press conference at the G7 meeting in 2018 in which TRAITOR Trump publicly undercut all 17 US intelligence agencies and stated that he believed Putin's denial of Russian involvement in the theft of the 2016 US election in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.   This photograph tells the astute viewer everything you need to know about whatever relationship exists between Putin and TRAITOR Trump.  Putin is obviously pleased, striving to control his sense of power and achievement while TRAITOR Trump is cowed, controlled, disempowered, and obviously unable to hold his head up in public.  That photograph is all you need to know about what happens when these two criminals are in the same room.  One is in charge while the other is powerless. 

 

Now let's look at how that relationship of power and control would influence any discussion of what Putin would do in Ukraine.  What TRAITOR Trump either does not know or is not allowed to discuss in public is that Putin has no intentions of stopping his War Of Aggression in Ukraine.  He has far larger plans based on the work of the Russian political philosopher whom he quotes regularly in public, Ivan Ilyin who lived from 1883 to 1954.  Putin has, on dozens of occasions, discussed his strong belief that Ilyin was the most important political thinker in the history of Russia.  So what does that have to do with Ukraine?  Ilyin believed and wrote extensively that he believed that Russia should control all of Eurasia, a political belief known as Eurasianism.  Putin has often said that he wants Russia to control all of Eurasia "from Vladivostok to Lisbon", an area that encompasses most of Eastern Europe and a major chunk of Asia.  Just as President Biden and most of the leaders of NATO know and understand what Ilyin believed and wrote.  They also understand Putin's belief that Ilyin was correct and Russia is entitled to control all of Eurasia. Putin will never stop at Ukraine if he is allowed to win.  And if TRAITOR Trump is allowed to illegally occupy the White House again, he will allow Putin to do "whatever the hell he wants to" all the way from Vladivostok to Lisbon.  Only a strong NATO with a fully committed United States, along with a mutually supported Ukraine can stop Putin from continuing his War Of Aggression into his dream of a Russian Eurasia.   This misbegotten dream of Putin's which was originated by Ivan Ilyin is a primary reason Sweden and Finland stepped forward after decades of neutrality to join NATO.  They know they would also be on the list of countries which Putin would attempt to conquer if he is not stopped in Ukraine.  

The Yale University historian and author, Timothy Snyder, discusses Putin's dream of Eurasia "from Vladivostok to Lisbon" in his excellent book, "The Road To Unfreedom".  Read it!  Believe it!  Tell everyone you know that TRAITOR Trump, Putin's Puppet, cannot and would never attempt to stop Putin in Ukraine, Poland, Sweden, or any other country in that vast area.  He would not and could not because Putin owns and controls him just as he proved in that press conference at the G7 meeting in 2018.  DO WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING ALL ALONG, VOTE STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC, EVERY ELECTION, EVERY RACE! 

TRAITOR Trump Has A Putin Problem! Or Is It Just A Partnership???

 

 

"Trump's contribution to global heterosexuality was to bring a beauty pageant to the Moscow suburbs, or rather to look on as Russians did so.  In principle he was the organizer, in fact he was paid twenty million dollars to oversee the work of his Russian colleagues. This was a pattern of relations between Russians and Trump that was by then long established: Trump was paid so that his name could assist Russians who knew something about money and power.  Just a few weeks earlier, in April 2013, the FBI had arrested twenty-nine men suspected of running two gambling rings inside Trump tower.  According to investigators, the operation was overseen by Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov, a Russian citizen who also ran a money-laundering operation from a condo directly under Trump's own.  As the FBI searched for him, Tokhtakhounov attended the Miss Universe pageant and sat a few seats away from Trump.  (The United States attorney who had authorized the Trump Tower raid was Preet Bharara.  Upon becoming president, Trump fired Bharara.)"  (Timothy Snyder, "The Road To Unfreedom", pages 120-121) 

While we cannot, and the FBI have not been able to say that TRAITOR Trump is definitely in the clutches of Russian intelligence, it is not difficult for anyone with the ability to read at a high school level to find enough well established, publicly documented evidence that he has had enough varied contacts with Russia and known Russian contacts of Vladimir Putin to be in the sway of Russia. That publicly documented evidence includes the aforementioned beauty pageant in Moscow, the invitation he extended to the Russian Ambassador to The United States to visit the White House with a Russian film crew and actually film their meeting inside the Oval Office shortly after he managed to manipulate his way into that hallowed location with the assistance and election meddling of Russian hackers under the direction of Vladimir Putin. There is little doubt that every member of that film crew were also FSB agents.  It also includes the press conference with Vladimir Putin in which TRAITOR Trump supported the claim by Putin that he had made no effort to influence the 2016 United State presidential election which was a direct contradiction of previously reported intelligence in which all 17 US intelligence agencies stated that there had been Russian influence on that election.  

 

These three incidents are just a minuscule portion of the 50 varied interactions between TRAITOR Trump and Russian entities in which some arrangement of either money or influence has changed hands which Timothy Snyder has documented both in his Thread on social media in this link and in his book "The Road To Unfreedom".  Each of these events can be confirmed in numerous forms of legitimate media, newspapers, magazines, television news, and social media.  All any of them requires to be validated is a simple internet search.  When you look at this link, keep in mind that Timothy Snyder is no Johnny Come Lately or a common angry citizen.  He is a professor of history at Yale University and actually holds an endowed chair there which is a guaranteed lifetime job so long as he wishes to teach.  He also is an expert on the history of Eastern Europe and the Holocaust.  If he puts anything into print, he can prove it and give you the location in publicly available records of that proof.  

Late in 2015, Konstantin Malofeev, a Russian oligarch and close associate of Putin used his "think tank" to endorse TRAITOR Trump in the US election.  Sooner or later with so many Russians professing their love of TRAITOR Trump you have to realize that he is a Russian asset.   

In November of 2016  after Putin's Russian hackers managed to steal the election in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and TRAITOR Trump was announced as the winner, he received a standing ovation in the Russian parliament which is composed entirely of people who are obligated with their lives to obey Putin.  They were cheering because they knew by virtue of TRAITOR Trump having been declared the winner, their leader's minion had achieved what no other Russian asset had ever done.  He would be living illegally in the White House and Russia had just won an American election.  

In June of 2017, TRAITOR Trump fired FBI director Robert Mueller after he had been ordered to carry out an investigation of Russian election interference.  The White House Counsel refused to carry out TRAITOR Trump's order and immediately Moscow began a widespread slander campaign against Mueller.   

In June of 2018, Vladimir Putin confirmed to a world wide selection of press members that he had actually wanted TRAITOR Trump to win the election of 2016.  Here is link to the story about  the Putin moment of honesty which appeared in "The Atlantic" at the time.  "The Atlantic" is one of the most honest and perpetually factual monthly magazines in America.  Here is a list of all the people Mueller brought charges against in his Russia investigation.  Although this is a slightly aged book, it would be very interesting if every reader of this blog post read Seth Hettena's book "Trump/Russia".   \I have not attempted to list an event of the exchange of power, influence, or money between TRAITOR Trump and Russia for every year since his first reported contacts with Russia because their nefarious relationship is too long and too close for an actual timeline of their love affair.  But you can do it on your own with simple internet searches of the phrases "Trump and Putin", "Trump and Russia", "Is Trump A Russian Asset" or almost any other word, combined with Trump, which can be interpreted as primarily Russian. Do you really want a Russian Asset living in the White House again?  Or you can just remember that only a few months ago in February 2024 TRAITOR Trump said in a public appearance that he would tell Putin to "do whatever the hell he wants to to any NATO country".  Do you really want Democracy to be silenced in America for the next four years?  In all honesty, this country cannot survive as a Democracy if TRAITOR Trump is allowed anywhere near the White House again!

"The Keeping Quilt" by Patricia Polacco, A Great Children's Book For Multi-cultural Education

 

Several months ago, I bought a fairly large collection of books from the estate of a retired school principal and this book was in that pile.  It is actually the second book I have read and written about in that purchase.  The other was "The Play Pretty Book", an Appalachian children's book which was produced by a Kentucky based educational non-profit and illustrated by Appalachian artist Tom Whitaker.  I read many different genres of literature and high quality children's literature is one of them.  This book, "The Keeping Quilt" was a winner of the Sydney Taylor Book Award from the Association of Jewish Libraries.  It was also a Carnegie Medal Honor Book.  This book is about a Russian Jewish family which immigrated to the United States with a little girl named Anna who is the great-grandmother of the narrator.  Anna has a much beloved babushka and dress which, naturally, become too small for her in time.  Her mother decided to invite the neighbor women in to hold a quilting bee and make a quilt from the babushka and dress so that Anna can keep something made from her treasured items. The quilt gets passed down from one little girl to another through several generations of the family throughout the life of the book.  

Since my real academic specialty is Appalachian Studies, let me say that this is a wonderful book to be used with Appalachian children since quilts and quilting hold such a special place in Appalachian Culture.  I grew up sleeping under what is called a "tacked quilt" which, instead of being sewn in regular stitches, has yarn "tacks" all over the body of the quilt.  The creator of such a quilt uses a darning needle and a skein of yarn and at uniform distances of about 4 inches in each direction passes the needle through the quilt twice at about the distance of a regular stitch, cuts off the yarn at about 3 inches and ties the two ends in a knot to make a "tack".  As I fell asleep at night, I would doze off holding and playing with the "tacks" on my quilt.  I have known many other Appalachian children who grew up the same way with "tacked quilts".  Thousands of Appalachian children grew up sleeping under regular patchwork quilts also.  The story of a quilt in this book will make a connection in the hearts and minds of most Appalachian children.  It is a great book for use in teaching Multi-cultural Education and Tolerance to young Appalachian children.  

Yes, this book is a bit aged having been published in 1988.  But it is also a timeless book about family, cultural traditions, expressions of love by elders doing things for young children, and quietly makes the point that the family are Jewish.  The book is published in 8 1/2" x 11" format, both written and illustrated by the author who actually wrote more than 50 children's books, and is a wonderful illustrator.  Her illustration style is unique in that most of the page areas are in black and white with only key areas or items in color.  I have included a page or two from the book here to demonstrate the illustration style which serves to strongly emphasize the importance of the key item in each page of the book. If you are a parent or teacher of kindergarten or first grade children, this is an excellent book to begin the discussion of religious tolerance with.  

"Sibir" by Farley Mowat, Reflections On An Older Book About Siberia

 

For many years, I have read the works of Canadian naturalist and author Farley Mowat, and several months ago my wife and I read several of his books together which had been the first time she had ever been exposed to his wonderful writiing.  The only negative comment I can make about Mowat and his work is that after he had become widely and wildly successful for works like "Never Cry Wolf" and "A Whale For The Killing", some of his later works were less interesting, less exciting, and, of course, less popular.  But every book I have ever read by Mowat was still filled with occasional shots of his splendid writing and voluminous vocabulary.  When I was younger, I would often read his books with a dictionary by my side because I knew I would find some words along the way that I had never heard, some from his life as a world traveling Canadian, and some from his having been descended from Scottish ancestors who must have passed a great deal of their linguistic panache along with their DNA.  

This book we are discussing was published in 1970, and came about because Mowat was invited to come to Russia by a Russian writer who also lived in and wrote about the extreme north of the country, Siberia, one of the coldest climates on earth with the possible exception of the peaks of the Alps and Himalayas.  Naturally, Mowat took the man up on his offer and eventually made several trips to Russia and Siberia.  In spite of the cold war, and because international concerns were different in those days, Mowat said that he was always well received and well treated wherever he went in the Russia, and particularly in Siberia.  I have been motivated to remember and write about this particular book, because my wife and I are currently reading a much less scholarly book about that region, "Last Of The Breed" by Louis L'Amour which I picked up on a whim in a Goodwill store because it was uncharacteristic of L'Amour's western writing.  I had also picked up two other L'Amour books for the same reason, already read and written about one of them, "Yondering" which is a collection of his short stories.  "Last Of The Breed" has led me back to this Mowat book because, to his credit, L'Amour had done some reasonable amount of research about Siberia before he wrote his book about an American pilot who escapes from a Siberian prison and is attempting to cross Siberia to Alaska in order to escape.  

Issues such as those in the L'Amour book never arose in Mowat's experience in Siberia although the two men do write about several similar aspects of the region which was far less developed in the times Mowat traveled there than it was in 1986 when L'Amour wrote his novel. The vast majority of the region was what is known as the taiga, a vast forested area which was replete with wildlife and few people.  Mowat was being guided on his visits by Yuri Rythkheu, a Russian nature writer and naturalist whose works were motivated by many of the same concerns which motivated Mowat.  The two became close friends over the years they knew each other and corresponded regularly, and in those times, Russia was considerably less repressive than it is today.  Mowat was allowed to travel extensively in the country, was often given official welcomes by local government officials and greeted much like a celebrity might have been even in America at the time.  He came to love Siberia, the Taiga, the people, and the vast wildlife of the region, and writes about it with a great deal of the same emotion and general protective concern he wrote about his native Canadian north.  The people he eoncountered in his travels there were much more open than Russians are today and, at times, Mowat found himself invited into homes and even involved in fairly wild parties.  

I have also known a few others of my friends and acquaintances who have been privileged to travel to Russia in the past including a nurse practitioner who went there as a  young nurse with a Christian based medical entourage and claims to have bribed an airport security officer in order to be allowed to take some medications into the country which she said the officer claimed were not permitted.  Nearly forty years ago, I also knew a few people who traveled to Russia as part of a group sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker group.  But none of those people were ever received in Russia in the open hearted way that Mowat was.  This is a fascinating book despite its age and good reading for anyone who likes to learn the history of other places in the world.  If you can find a copy, read it.  You won't be disappointed.  And, you might even like "Last Of The Breed" by Louis L'Amour. 

A Wonderful, Early, Unintended Political Birthday Present!

Clark Fish Hatchery which sits just below the spillway of Cave Run Lake; then we went to Wal Mart and Kroger to stock up on groceries, etc. I had already had a good day for several reasons.  I had spent time with my wife, Candice, and I had hiked to the hatchery from the spillway area in the company of the man who supervises the transportation of the fish they raise there to about half the state of Kentucky.  We had a good talk and hike on his way to work and my way to hike.  He answered several of my perpetual questions about the operations of the hatchery including telling me that they raise a lot of gold fish to feed the muskellunge they breed for stocking lakes.  I had previously seen goldfish in some concrete holding tanks on the property but had never understood exactly why they had them there.  I had thought that since they are a form of carp they might have been keeping them to help keep tanks clean.  But actually, they are just another version of the fattening hog for the muskellunge.  Then I hiked on around several of the 84 growing ponds the hatchery uses to finish the fish they produce.  I saw a lot of bird during that time which I don't always see there because I am hiking constantly and not paying attention to the tree lines and sometimes flush birds before I can clearly identify them.   I saw a flock of about 24 Canada Geese, about 18 American Crows, 6 Killdeer which are actually one of my favorite birds, and I was able to identify my first Green Heron.  

Then when I got home, I found a small envelope in my mail box with the return address of Betty Lynn on it which I had known was coming in some form or other since Betty had told me on Facebook that she was sending me something she had found in her large collection of memorabilia from a long career at Berea College where she worked as a secretary for many years.  I opened the envelope and quickly realized that Betty knows me well and had chosen to give me a perfect birthday gift. It was a single sheet of aged, yellowed, frazzled paper with a poem written on it in blue mimeograph ink and the letterhead of Berea College on the other side.  It is a rhyming poem of 7 stanza each composed of 2 rhyming couplets by an unknown author who was most likely an employee of Berea College in the 1950's when it was written.  I will include it at the bottom of this blog post but let me say in advance it if funny and well located at this time in American History because it puts our current political problems in a good perspective and shows us that while the Republican party never had the best intentions in mind for the majority of our citizens they were surely not the absolute criminals in 1952 that they are today.  The man who is the primary topic of this poem was definitely not anywhere near the level of pond scum that TRAITOR Trump is and always has been.

THE REPUBLICANS

The Republican's seed sprouted and grew, 

In the simple minds of quite a few.

Some are nuts about whom they like

And made up their minds to vote for Ike. 

They've promised a lot and they'll promise more

Let's look and see what they did before.

Twenty years have passed, and yet,

Those Hoover Days I'll  never forget.

When Hoover was in I lived on the farm.

A dollar bill looked as long as my arm.

I never saw a ten dollar bill, 

And, if Ike is elected, I doubt if I will.

When Hoover was in, things were really tight. 

The rabbits were scarce and the fish wouldn't bite.

The men too ragged to go anywhere,

And the women wore flour sack underwear.

Remember me when you cast your vote.

If you vote for Ike, you'll cut your throat.

Would you rather have a life of ease

Or water gravy and black-eyed peas?

Since nineteen hundred and thirty-two

The Republican party has been in a stew.

They've called the Democrats nasty names, 

But the banks stay open just the same.

If Ike is elected, I'll move to the farm.

I'll plant some taters behind the barn; 

I'll steal my neighbor's roasting ears, 

I'll try to get by for four more years.

While this might not be great poetry, it is above average political doggerel and it points out the very clear differences between the Republican Party of President Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Right Wing Radical Repugnican Party of TREASON, hatred, criminality, and disgust it has become since 1952.  While Eisenhower was not anywhere near the best, or even one of the best, presidents we ever had, he was a patriot, was a major player in winning World War II and was elected twice.  His most important achievement was beginning what became the interstate highway system which he envisioned while fighting across Europe against Adolf Hitler.  No, Eisenhower was not perfect.  But he was also not perfectly imperfect as TRAITOR Trump proves on a daily basis that he is.  While the country did not prosper as it should have during the administration of Eisenhower, it was never in mortal peril as it has been every day since TRAITOR Trump listened to his Russian master Vladimir Putin and consented to be the TREASONOUS beneficiary of as stolen US election.  While Eisenhower accomplished little in the White House other than the interstate highway system's birth, he never engaged in the kind of crime spree his vice president Richard Nixon did you just a few short years later. Dwight D. Eisenhower was a man of honor, a general of great military achievements, a man who could have been trusted to be in a room alone with a teenage girl.  TRAITOR Trump can not point to any actual achievements other than having become the greatest TRAITOR in the history of the world. America must realize that there is some truth in the little poem above.  But the most valuable thing in that poem is a chance to compare the last decent Republican in America to the worst TRAITOR in the history of the world, TRAITOR Trump.  We must learn from the comparison and we must send that TRAITOR to federal prison for his crimes against America, the American people, and the world.
