Have You Ever Called Vladimr Putin? I Never Have!

 

 As pre-release copies of Bob Woodward's new book "War" were sent out in advance of its October 15, 2024, release date, nearly every legitimate, ethical news agency in the  nation began to report on some of the most important revelations the book contains.  Most of those news stories were similar to the one which PBS ran on October 8, 2024, one week before the book's release.  I quote from that story below: 

"Donald Trump has had as many as seven private phone calls with Vladimir Putin since leaving office and secretly sent the Russian president COVID-19 test machines during the height of the pandemic, Bob Woodward reported in his new book “War.”"  (PBS via AP, October 8, 2024.  https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-had-as-many-as-7-private-calls-with-putin-since-leaving-office-bob-woodward-writes-in-new-book )

I received my copy of the book on October 19, 2024, and have not read the entire book yet.  I am currently snowed under with a pile of new books on my "To Be Read" shelf, and was forced to simply use the index to check all the book's references to both TRAITOR Trump and Putin, the man who has owned him for forty years.  The book is stunning in what it says about TRAITOR Trump and his deep connections and indebtedness to the worst dictator in the world. You must also consider who Bob Woodward is when you examine what he says in this book.  Bob Woodward, along with Carl Bernstein, was responsible for breaking the story of Watergate which resulted in the end of the political career of former President Richard Nixon.  Woodward has been a fixture in Washington, DC, and world politics and literature since the early 1970's. He has published about 20 other books in his career, nearly all have been best sellers, and his integrity has never been questioned.  His reputation is impeccable.  If he prints it, it is a fact!  But what I find stunning is not that TRAITOR Trump was maintaining contact with Vladimir Putin.  For years now, a large number of other honest, ethical journalists have been telling you and the rest of the world that TRAITOR Trump is just that, a TRAITOR.  I have published on this blog numerous discussions of other books by other writers about the thousands of crimes of TRAITOR Trump.  He is a TRAITOR, nothing more, nothing less, and he has been for at least forty years.  But I have known several retired military personnel in the last 10 to 20 years who have all been saying exactly what I have been saying.  We have universally believed that for some long period of time some covert channel of communication existed between TRAITOR Trump and his Russian handlers who were probably not Putin until after Putin and Russia managed to steal the 2016 election and place TRAITOR Trump inside the White House.  Timothy Snyder has actually compiled and posted a list of 50 times TRAITOR  Trump was involved in exchanges of power, money, or influence with Putin and Russia. I have quoted and cited numerous authors over the last 9 years who have said the same thing.  In this blog post, I quoted the entirety of page 220 of Timothy Snyder's excellent book "The Road To Unfreedom" in which Snyder provides another long list of the incidents in which TRAITOR Trump has interacted with Russia, Putin, and other Russian agents.  What Bob Woodward tells us in his new book is nothing new! It just comes from his contacts with a different source, an employee of TRAITOR Trump who spilled the beans.  And when we consider if Bob Woodward knows how to develop and utilize a source, just remember that he and Bernstein were the men who got a Deputy Director of the FBI to divulge what he knew about Richard Nixon's crimes, to become known as Deep Throat, and to admit it publicly before his death.  If Bob Woodward says it, he can prove it.  

So now let's look at what Bob Woodward is saying about TRAITOR Trump and his contacts with Vladimir Putin.  First, let's look at the second half of the allegation from the PBS story quoted and cited above, that TRAITOR Trump sent Putin "COVID-19 test machines during the height of the pandemic".  Woodward discuses that fact on page 33 of his book in this manner: 

"President Trump had secretly sent a bunch of Abbott Point of Care Covid test machines for his personal use as the virus spread rapidly through Russia.  "Please don't tell anybody you sent these to me," Putin said to Trump.  "I don't care", Trump said. "Fine."  "No, no," Putin said, I don't want you to tell anybody, because people will get mad at you, not me.They don't care about me."  (Bob Woodward, "War", page 33.)

Then on page 98 of "War", Woodward writes directly about an interview he had with TRAITOR Trump at Mar-a-Lago:

"Putin respects me.  And I respect Putin. I think Putin likes me.  I think I like him.  I do like him", Trump concluded.  "Bob Woodward, "War", page 98.)

And there we have another repetition of the kind of ignorance contained in TRAITOR Trump's famous Love Letters to Kim Jung Un.  His desire to please a dictator, especially a dictator whose banks saved him from financial disaster many years ago, is the ruling element in his psyche.  Woodward begins chapter Seventy-Five of his book on page 356 with the discussion of the phone calls TRAITOR Trump has had with Vladimir Putin since leaving the White House on January 20, 2021.  This discussion of the telephone calls is what shocked much of the journalistic world since, after leaving the White House, even a legitimately elected president, which TRAITOR Trump never was, cannot conduct, or attempt to conduct foreign policy with legitimate world leaders without the clear approval of the sitting government.  It is a clear cut violation of The Logan Act of 1799.  It is a felony under federal law.  Here is what Woodward has to say about those telephone calls: 

"In early 2024, a Trump aide loitered outside the former president's office.  Trump had sent the aide out of the room so he could have what he said was a private phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.  According to Trump's aide, there have been multiple phone calls between Trump and Putin, maybe as many as seven in the period since Trump left the White House in 2021.  When I asked Trump's campaign aide Jason Miller, in July if he knew about phone calls between Trump and Putin, Miller's answer was, "Um, ah, not that, ah, not that I'm aware of."  Is Trump able to talk to Putin now? "I'm sure they know how to get in touch with each other," Miller said."  (Bob Woodward, "War", page 356.)  

A little farther down the page, Woodward says, "The Logan Act makes it illegal for private citizens to negotiate disputes without the clear authorization of the sitting US government."  And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the problem!  Traitor Trump has clearly committed multiple violations of The Logan Act.  It is highly likely that in the process of those violations he has also committed multiple violations of The Espionage Act. And, without a doubt, he also committed violations of the Sedition Act during his involvement in and orchestration of January 6.  But additionally, we need to ask ourselves this: "if he has maintained regular contact with Vladimir Putin, the most dangerous enemy of the United States, in addition to having stolen and lied to the FBI about hundreds of classified federal documents, what has he passed on to Putin from the contents of those documents".  As a citizen of the United States of America, you need to accept the fact that TRAITOR Trump is an agent of Russia, a TRAITOR, and an existential threat to the existence of American Democracy.  And you need to vote accordingly on November 5, 2024. 

 

 

 

TRAITOR Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Their Relationship!

 

I have written several times on this blog about the deep, unbreakable relationship between TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin.  I have also written several times about the incredible writing and honest reporting of Yale University history professor Timothy Snyder.  This link will take you to several posts about the work of Timothy Snyder who, in my opinion is the greatest historian and author of history and political science based books we have in America today.  Timothy Snyder does a far better job of explaining or illustrating the dangerous and TREASONOUS depth of the relationship between the two.  Every voter in America should read Snyder's books "On Tyranny" ,  "The Road To Unfreedom", and "On Democracy".  All three are among the most important books in print in America today.  And all three are on the list of books that TRAITOR Trump, his campaign staff, and Vladimir Putin hope that no American will read.  The reasons for that is that the books are honest, accurate, well documented history of the danger TRAITOR Trump presents to both America and the world. 

Since I began writing this blog post, an incredible story has broken in the news media about TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin.  Bob Woodward has just released a new book called "War"  in which he writes about information provided to him by a TRAITOR Trump staffer who stated that TRAITOR Trump had provided Covid equipment to Putin secretly very early in the pandemic while he was doing nothing about the onrushing US pandemic. The book also reports that TRAITOR Trump has made at least seven telephone calls to Putin since the inauguration of President Biden and would sometimes tell staffers to leave the room since he had "to have a private conversation with President Putin".  This book, written by one of the men responsible for the Watergate disclosures which ended the presidency of Richard Nixon, has made allegations which should ensure that TRAITOR Trump is prosecuted for violations of both the Logan Act and the  Espionage Act.  This is just one more "smoking gun" about the TREASON of TRAITOR Trump.  It is absolute proof of what I and dozens of other intelligent writers and politicians have been telling the world about TRAITOR Trump for many years.  HE IS A TRAITOR OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY VLADIMIR PUTIN AND RUSSIA!  Based on what Bob Woodward has said in his book, you cannot defend TRAITOR Trump on any level.  He must be prosecuted ! He must be convicted!  He must be imprisoned for the rest of his life!  This country is not safe so long as he is alive and outside a maximum security prison.  Below is just  a portion of the story as it has been reported by CBS News: 

"Even after leaving office, Trump has stayed in touch with the Russian president, according to Woodward. An unidentified aide told Woodward the former president had as many as seven private calls with Putin — although Woodward noted he was unable to speak to Trump or Putin to verify the calls happened, and he was wasn't able to confirm the calls through the Trump campaign or intelligence sources.  But according to the aide, one of the calls came early this year, when Trump was urging Republicans to block additional aid to Ukraine to help the country's fight against Russia.  The newly revealed contacts raise additional questions about Trump's relationship with Putin. In a recent presidential debate, Trump twice refused to say who he wanted to prevail in the war between Russia and Ukraine." (CBS, October 8, 2024) 

This is damning information from a journalist who has moved within the circles of world power for over fifty years and whose work with Carl Bernstein led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, the successful prosecution of the Watergate figures, and has made both of these men household words in America and the world ever since.  Woodward's ethics and honest are impeccable and unimpeachable.  This is, or should be, the last nail in the public coffin of TRAITOR Trump and his collusion with Vladimir Putin.  I am certain every US intelligence agent in the world has now been directed to follow this story to whatever sordid place in which the ultimate truth of it is hiding.  It is about Espionage!  It is about TREASON!  It is about TRAITOR Trump's collusion with the worst enemy the United States of America has in the world!

In a slight aside, let me say that if you want to understand the nature of the relationship between TRAITOR Trump and Vladimir Putin, all you have to do is study and come to understand the body language in the photograph above.  It was shot at the G7 Summit in Helsinki at the press conference after TRAITOR Trump had just met with Vladimir Putin in a meeting without US interpreters.  He came out of that meeting with the above hangdog face while Putin was trying hard to stifle a grin at whatever they had just said to each other.  In the press conference, TRAITOR Trump disputed the findings of all 17 US intelligence agencies and stated that he believed Putin when he said that Russia had not interfered in the US election. That photograph, that meeting, that relationship, and that lie from TRAITOR Trump have been discussed many times in many places by thousands of journalists, US intelligence agents, common US citizens, and nearly every world leader since then, and almost universally by everyone who has ever rendered an honest opinion about it, it has been assessed as being a photograph of an American minion of the Russian president telling a lie to please his owner.  The most honest of all those opinions and the best documentation of proof to support his opinion about that relationship has consistently come from Timothy Snyder, both on his Twitter or X account and in his several books about the rising specter of Fascism in the world today.  It has also been discussed many times by other historians and journalists in their writings.  This is a CNN article on the topic from June of 2018.  This is a 2021 article from the New Zealand Herald discussing TRAITOR Trump's insistence three years after the news conference that he still believes Putin over US intelligence.  

TRAITOR Trump, Putin, Ukraine, and Putin's Dream Of A Eurasian Empire

 

Over the last several days, TRAITOR Trump has made numerous claims that he could "end the war in Ukraine even before I took office".  But there is a great deal of deception, misdirection, dishonesty, and outright lying in those statements.  Two days ago, on September 27, 2024, President Zelenskyy deigned to meet with man, other than Vladimir Putin, who presents the greatest danger to Ukraine and the very existence of democracy both in Eastern Europe and the United States of America.  I have no idea why President Zelenskyy would bother to hold such a meeting when the very existence of the country he has protected for the past several years is at stake.  After the meeting, TRAITOR Trump did as he always does in any situation, and tried to make himself look the answer to a problem which he is totally unfit to be involved in.  He said, in part, "We’re going to work very much with both parties to try and get this settled and get it worked out," Trump said, standing next to Zelenskyy while speaking to a small group of reporters ahead of their closed-door meeting. "It has to end. At some point, it has to end. He’s gone through hell. His country has gone through hell."    Like everything which crosses TRAITOR Trump's lips, there are just enough nuggets of near truth in it to mislead the naive listener.  Yes, at some point Putin's War Of Aggression against Ukraine must end, and it must end with a free, democratic Ukraine which is how it began.  TRAITOR Trump went on to make the outrageous claim that he and President Zelenskyy "have a very good relationship, and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin."  There is not and never has been a legitimate reason for anyone to believe that TRAITOR Trump and President Zelenskyy have anything near a positive relationship.  But the nugget of near truth in that second quotation from TRAITOR Trump's press conference after the meeting is that fact that he has "a good relationship with President Putin."   If you want to see how positive TRAITOR Trump's relationship with Putin is just look at the still photograph below of the two of them at the notorious press conference at the G7 meeting in 2018 in which TRAITOR Trump publicly undercut all 17 US intelligence agencies and stated that he believed Putin's denial of Russian involvement in the theft of the 2016 US election in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.   This photograph tells the astute viewer everything you need to know about whatever relationship exists between Putin and TRAITOR Trump.  Putin is obviously pleased, striving to control his sense of power and achievement while TRAITOR Trump is cowed, controlled, disempowered, and obviously unable to hold his head up in public.  That photograph is all you need to know about what happens when these two criminals are in the same room.  One is in charge while the other is powerless. 

 

Now let's look at how that relationship of power and control would influence any discussion of what Putin would do in Ukraine.  What TRAITOR Trump either does not know or is not allowed to discuss in public is that Putin has no intentions of stopping his War Of Aggression in Ukraine.  He has far larger plans based on the work of the Russian political philosopher whom he quotes regularly in public, Ivan Ilyin who lived from 1883 to 1954.  Putin has, on dozens of occasions, discussed his strong belief that Ilyin was the most important political thinker in the history of Russia.  So what does that have to do with Ukraine?  Ilyin believed and wrote extensively that he believed that Russia should control all of Eurasia, a political belief known as Eurasianism.  Putin has often said that he wants Russia to control all of Eurasia "from Vladivostok to Lisbon", an area that encompasses most of Eastern Europe and a major chunk of Asia.  Just as President Biden and most of the leaders of NATO know and understand what Ilyin believed and wrote.  They also understand Putin's belief that Ilyin was correct and Russia is entitled to control all of Eurasia. Putin will never stop at Ukraine if he is allowed to win.  And if TRAITOR Trump is allowed to illegally occupy the White House again, he will allow Putin to do "whatever the hell he wants to" all the way from Vladivostok to Lisbon.  Only a strong NATO with a fully committed United States, along with a mutually supported Ukraine can stop Putin from continuing his War Of Aggression into his dream of a Russian Eurasia.   This misbegotten dream of Putin's which was originated by Ivan Ilyin is a primary reason Sweden and Finland stepped forward after decades of neutrality to join NATO.  They know they would also be on the list of countries which Putin would attempt to conquer if he is not stopped in Ukraine.  

The Yale University historian and author, Timothy Snyder, discusses Putin's dream of Eurasia "from Vladivostok to Lisbon" in his excellent book, "The Road To Unfreedom".  Read it!  Believe it!  Tell everyone you know that TRAITOR Trump, Putin's Puppet, cannot and would never attempt to stop Putin in Ukraine, Poland, Sweden, or any other country in that vast area.  He would not and could not because Putin owns and controls him just as he proved in that press conference at the G7 meeting in 2018.  DO WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING ALL ALONG, VOTE STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC, EVERY ELECTION, EVERY RACE! 

TRAITOR Trump Has A Putin Problem! Or Is It Just A Partnership???

 

 

"Trump's contribution to global heterosexuality was to bring a beauty pageant to the Moscow suburbs, or rather to look on as Russians did so.  In principle he was the organizer, in fact he was paid twenty million dollars to oversee the work of his Russian colleagues. This was a pattern of relations between Russians and Trump that was by then long established: Trump was paid so that his name could assist Russians who knew something about money and power.  Just a few weeks earlier, in April 2013, the FBI had arrested twenty-nine men suspected of running two gambling rings inside Trump tower.  According to investigators, the operation was overseen by Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov, a Russian citizen who also ran a money-laundering operation from a condo directly under Trump's own.  As the FBI searched for him, Tokhtakhounov attended the Miss Universe pageant and sat a few seats away from Trump.  (The United States attorney who had authorized the Trump Tower raid was Preet Bharara.  Upon becoming president, Trump fired Bharara.)"  (Timothy Snyder, "The Road To Unfreedom", pages 120-121) 

While we cannot, and the FBI have not been able to say that TRAITOR Trump is definitely in the clutches of Russian intelligence, it is not difficult for anyone with the ability to read at a high school level to find enough well established, publicly documented evidence that he has had enough varied contacts with Russia and known Russian contacts of Vladimir Putin to be in the sway of Russia. That publicly documented evidence includes the aforementioned beauty pageant in Moscow, the invitation he extended to the Russian Ambassador to The United States to visit the White House with a Russian film crew and actually film their meeting inside the Oval Office shortly after he managed to manipulate his way into that hallowed location with the assistance and election meddling of Russian hackers under the direction of Vladimir Putin. There is little doubt that every member of that film crew were also FSB agents.  It also includes the press conference with Vladimir Putin in which TRAITOR Trump supported the claim by Putin that he had made no effort to influence the 2016 United State presidential election which was a direct contradiction of previously reported intelligence in which all 17 US intelligence agencies stated that there had been Russian influence on that election.  

 

These three incidents are just a minuscule portion of the 50 varied interactions between TRAITOR Trump and Russian entities in which some arrangement of either money or influence has changed hands which Timothy Snyder has documented both in his Thread on social media in this link and in his book "The Road To Unfreedom".  Each of these events can be confirmed in numerous forms of legitimate media, newspapers, magazines, television news, and social media.  All any of them requires to be validated is a simple internet search.  When you look at this link, keep in mind that Timothy Snyder is no Johnny Come Lately or a common angry citizen.  He is a professor of history at Yale University and actually holds an endowed chair there which is a guaranteed lifetime job so long as he wishes to teach.  He also is an expert on the history of Eastern Europe and the Holocaust.  If he puts anything into print, he can prove it and give you the location in publicly available records of that proof.  

Late in 2015, Konstantin Malofeev, a Russian oligarch and close associate of Putin used his "think tank" to endorse TRAITOR Trump in the US election.  Sooner or later with so many Russians professing their love of TRAITOR Trump you have to realize that he is a Russian asset.   

In November of 2016  after Putin's Russian hackers managed to steal the election in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and TRAITOR Trump was announced as the winner, he received a standing ovation in the Russian parliament which is composed entirely of people who are obligated with their lives to obey Putin.  They were cheering because they knew by virtue of TRAITOR Trump having been declared the winner, their leader's minion had achieved what no other Russian asset had ever done.  He would be living illegally in the White House and Russia had just won an American election.  

In June of 2017, TRAITOR Trump fired FBI director Robert Mueller after he had been ordered to carry out an investigation of Russian election interference.  The White House Counsel refused to carry out TRAITOR Trump's order and immediately Moscow began a widespread slander campaign against Mueller.   

In June of 2018, Vladimir Putin confirmed to a world wide selection of press members that he had actually wanted TRAITOR Trump to win the election of 2016.  Here is link to the story about  the Putin moment of honesty which appeared in "The Atlantic" at the time.  "The Atlantic" is one of the most honest and perpetually factual monthly magazines in America.  Here is a list of all the people Mueller brought charges against in his Russia investigation.  Although this is a slightly aged book, it would be very interesting if every reader of this blog post read Seth Hettena's book "Trump/Russia".   \I have not attempted to list an event of the exchange of power, influence, or money between TRAITOR Trump and Russia for every year since his first reported contacts with Russia because their nefarious relationship is too long and too close for an actual timeline of their love affair.  But you can do it on your own with simple internet searches of the phrases "Trump and Putin", "Trump and Russia", "Is Trump A Russian Asset" or almost any other word, combined with Trump, which can be interpreted as primarily Russian. Do you really want a Russian Asset living in the White House again?  Or you can just remember that only a few months ago in February 2024 TRAITOR Trump said in a public appearance that he would tell Putin to "do whatever the hell he wants to to any NATO country".  Do you really want Democracy to be silenced in America for the next four years?  In all honesty, this country cannot survive as a Democracy if TRAITOR Trump is allowed anywhere near the White House again!

"The Restless Wave" by John McCain and Mark Salter--Book Review

McCain, John & Mark Salter: The Restless Wave (New York, NY, Simon & Schuster 2018)

"Bigger misfits haven't been seen inside a White House since William Taft got stuck in his bathtub." John McCain & Mark Salter, p. 327.  

This has been the most pleasant surprise I have found in a book in many years.  I went into reading this last book by John McCain with the preconception that I  would find a fairly standard espousal of some customary Right Wing Radical Republican views.  While I did find some of that, I also found a lot of honesty, perhaps expressed in the face of impending death, but honesty just the same.  There was honesty about both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.  But, the most pleasant surprise of all was that there was honesty about TRAITOR and Spawn Of Satan Trump.  I had not expected to find that in spite of what I already knew about the less than pleasant relationship between the two.  But the book delivers some brutally honest assessments of the traitor who currently illegally occupies the White House based on his treason with Vladimir Putin and Russia.  McCain and Salter stop short of using the word traitor but they definitely did not pull many other punches in referring to the ongoing disaster in America.  I suspect that John McCain wanted to go to his grave with a somewhat clear conscience.  However, it is a real tragedy that he chose to not endorse Hillary Clinton for president simply based on is party loyalty.  My copy of this book is currently marked nearly from cover to cover with those tiny Post It Notes which denote a geek because I found so many statements in the book which I wanted to pass on to my readers in this review.  

The one possible area in which I question this book is the fact that John McCain was dying as it was being written, edited, and prepared for publication and much of it was probably written solely by Mark Salter.  But Salter had known and primarily worked for John McCain since 1988 and served as his chief of staff for a period.  They coauthored seven books together during their thirty year collaboration and Salter served as McCain's primary speech writer and one of his closest confidantes.  In that light, it is likely that few if any people understood John McCain better than Mark Salter. So even if Salter wrote the majority of the book, I still consider it authentic McCain.  McCain and Beau Bridges narrated the audio book version of this last book and it could be said that the manuscript was either finished or very nearly finished before McCain's death and all or most of it was written with his cooperation and knowledge in order to make his portion of the narration possible.  However, I do not know what percentage of the book McCain managed to narrate before his death.

McCain's first reference to TRAITOR and Spawn Of Satan Trump comes on page 103 where he discusses the torturous practises which were followed at Guantanamo, including waterboarding and Trump's claim that he was willing to bring it back.  McCain states that TRAITOR Trump

"...insisted that torture 'absolutely works' and swore he would bring back waterboarding and worse.  His statement was made out of ignorance, attributable to his lack of experience in a role related to the defense of this country.  It also exposed his apparent lack of appreciation for the importance of our values to our security, and for the understanding that simple human decency is as essential to the souls of nations as it is to the souls of people."  (McCain & Salter, p. 103)

There are several aspects of this quote which are worthy of discussion.  Firstly, McCain's reference to the ignorance of TRAITOR Trump was both accurate and timely.  Secondly, his veiled reference to the traitor's lack of military experience clearly compares the early lives of both men.  McCain spent five and a half years as a POW in Viet Nam while TRAITOR Trump spent those years exercising multiple claims of having bone spurs which kept him from being rightfully inducted.  Thirdly, the reference to TRAITOR Trump's lack of understanding of morals and human decency is also quite accurate. Unspoken in that quote is the fact that after five and one half years in a Viet Cong prison John McCain was an expert on torture and the information it might and might not produce from a victim.  This is the first notable mention McCain made in the book to the criminal who temporarily resides in the White House but it was not the last.  However, it did set the tone for everything else which was said in the book on that despicable excuse for a human.

By contrast, when McCain first mentions President Barack Obama on page 192, he refers to him as "...thoughtful and well intentioned..." while disagreeing with his views. I was also quite pleased to read McCain's discussion of dark money and the Citizens United decision by the US Supreme Court on page 200 where he states that

"...the explosion of unlimited and dark money in campaigns, an invitation to corruption made possible by the Supreme Court's decision in  the Citizens United case, a mistake made by five justices who never ran for any office and were more naive than a cloistered nun about the corrupting effect of unlimited money in politics." (McCain & Salter, p. 200)

When McCain approaches the discussion of immigration and the ongoing battle over illegal immigration, he surprised me totally by saying that Republicans who oppose immigration

"...need to be confronted, not ignored or winked at or quietly dismissed as kooks.  They need to be confronted before their noxious views spread further, and damage for generations the reputation of the Republican Party."  (McCain & Salter, p. 206)

McCain also was honest and patriotic in his discussion of the Mueller investigation into the crimes of TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.

"I trust the FBI and Special Counsel Robert Mueller, an experienced, skilled prosecutor, and a man of exceptional probity and character, to separate fact from fiction, and to get to the bottom of the so-called dossier. (The Steele Dossier) If it is the product of slander or groundless fears, he'll say so.  It will be up to Congress and the judiciary to evaluate his conclusions and act on them if necessary, to do our duty, whatever it proves to be, as diligently, fairly, and nonpolitically as Mueller will have done his."  (McCain & Salter, p. 241)

Although McCain did not discuss the Russian hacking and the collusion between TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump at length, on page 265 of the book he does say

"Moscow waged a sophisticated cyber and disinformation campaign against the Georgians as well, giving the world its first good look at a form of warfare the Russians would prove adept at, which we would see again in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, and, it pains me to say, in an American presidential election."  (McCain & Salter, p. 265)

If John McCain, a dying former US presidential nominee, long term senator, and war hero was willing to admit that the Russians hacked our election, no other American should ever doubt it. Keep in mind that John McCain was the person in American government who was chosen by Christopher Steele to deliver the Steele Dossier to the hands of US law enforcement and carried that out immediately upon receiving and reading the dossier.  Until we reach the end of the Mueller investigation and justice has run its course for TRAITOR and Spawn Of Satan Trump, America can never again assume that we are living in a functioning democracy.

Just as he did in reference to President Obama, McCain spoke favorably of Hillary Clinton on  page 270 where he said "She concluded correctly, that 'strength and resolve were the only language Putin would understand'." Time is likely to prove that the greatest tragedy of John McCain's life and career in politics was the fact that he did not fully endorse Hillary Clinton in 2016 instead of just refusing to endorse the TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.  He did go on later in the book, on page 274 to say that Putin sought "...revenge five years later by ordering his trolls, and hackers and subcontractors at WikiLeaks to help defeat her."  He went on to say that "Sparing Putin any serious penalty for his assault on our democracy doesn't just encourage further aggression, it tells the victims and potential victims of Russian aggression...that the United States, the greatest power in the world, couldn't be relied on to defend its own democracy." (McCain & Salter, p. 288)  I would go even further and say that sparing both Putin and TRAITOR and Spawn Of Satan Trump any serious penalty for their crimes also encourages every other traitor and would be dictator in America to believe they can also achieve illegitimate and illegal access to power in our country.  McCain goes on in the book on pages 294-295 to further discuss his opinion of Vladimir Putin and his crimes against America and the world.  His concluding words in the section quoted immediately below also leave little doubt of his opinion about the fact that our elected congress members have failed to confront the crimes of both Putin and TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.

"He is using our own weaknesses and virtues against us, the openness of our society and the increasingly acrimonious political divisions consuming us. He wants to widen those divides and paralyze us from responding to his aggression.  He meddled in our election, and he will do it again because it worked, and because he has not been made to stop.  He interfered in the  last French presidential election.  And he successfully helped reelect the president of the Czech Republic, a NATO ally, who opposes NATO and the EU and supports Putin's invasion and annexation of Crimea.  He did it with the same means he used to interfere in our election.  And yet, as of this writing, I don't see Washington prepared and focused to stop his continued assault on our democratic processes."  McCain & Salter, p. 295.

McCain goes on, a few pages later, to expand on his thoughts about what must be done to contain Vladimir Putin and the Russian plan to control our elections and destroy America, American Democracy, all out diplomatic alliances, and the entire free world.

"...we have a way to go before all Americans realize that Putin's goal isn't to defeat a candidate or a party.  He means to defeat the West.  He will try to interfere, he already is, in our next election, and the election after that, and the election after that.  He will keep doing it until we prevent him.  And we're behind schedule in that responsibility." McCain & Salter, p. 299.

The quote above from page 299 of McCain's book should have been a rallying cry for every loyal American both inside and outside the Washington Beltway to rise up and take the fight to Putin and Russia by all means possible and necessary.  But the TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump belongs to Vladimir Putin and has ever since Alfa Bank bailed him out of his deliberate bankrupting of the New Jersey casinos in 1987.  He will not and literally cannot do anything to fight or control Putin and has no desire to do so if he could.  He is a Russian agent.  We are in the deepest, most dangerous constitutional crisis in this country since 1861.

On the next page of the book, John McCain continues his discussion of the failures of TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump to use his illegally obtained office to confront Vladimir Putin. "...Trump seems to vary from refusing to believe what Putin is doing to just not caring about it."  If reading that statement from one of the most senior and most politically connected and experienced US Senators does not scare you, you aren't paying attention or simply denying the truth. "He (Trump) needs to needs to comprehend the nature of the threat Putin poses.  He needs to understand Putin's nature, and ours.  Last year, he implied that our government was morally equivalent to Putin's regime: 'We have a lot of killers, too.  You think our country is innocent,' he told an interviewer.  It was a shameful thing to say, and so unaware of reality."  McCain & Salter, p. 300-301

I do not believe that the statement quoted above by John McCain was "unaware of reality" on the part of the TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.  I believe he was and is fully aware of what he is attempting to do when he discusses Vladimir Putin and Russia.  I believe he is first and foremost attempting to please the man who owns and controls him, Vladimir Putin.  I believe he is seeking to do everything he can to destroy America in support of his Russian Owner.  I simply believe he is a TRAITOR, fully aware of his TREASON and its potential consequences if he is unable to seize control of America in support of Russia.  I believe he is working toward his own selfish goals to protect himself from both the legal consequences of his TREASON and from the personal consequences if he is unable to do as ordered by the Russians who have owned him ever since they bailed him out of his New Jersey casino disaster.  Farther down page 301 in the book, McCain continues his discussion of the world wide consequences, both to the USA and to our diplomatic and strategic allies, of the TREASONOUS acts of TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.

"The world is learning to live without our active leadership.  That's not good for the world and it won't be good for us.  That's the real damage our distractions are doing to our interests--the spurious nationalism animating our politics, our growing distrust of our institutions and of each other, facilitated by the activities of a committed enemy.  When President Trump compares us neutrally to the regime of a murderer and thug, it causes our allies and adversaries to wonder, if Americans don't believe in themselves, why should we."  McCain & Salter, p. 301.

Having that kind of public statement come from a senior US Senator, an undisputed war hero, a former major party presidential nominee, a man respected worldwide, is one of the most terrifying statements ever made about the relationship between the  USA and our diplomatic allies and it is absolutely true.  Our closest allies such as Germany, Canada, England, and the other members of the G7, the weak but struggling democracies we have always supported, and the enemies we have always fought both militarily and diplomatically are no longer accepting that the USA will stand up for good, fight against evil, or protect the weak whether they are people or governments and that is a tragedy which must be laid fully in the lap of the TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.

I have gone to much greater lengths in writing this book review than I have on any other recently.  That is due to the fact that I firmly believe that this is a book which every American should read, especially those members of the Republican party who still, for some unknown and unknowable reason, support TRAITOR & Spawn Of Satan Trump.  This book is the final epistle from a dying American whose commitments to America and American Democracy were always unquestioned and unquestionable.  This author was writing his swan song to a wonderful career of service to his country and the world.  This is an author who will be considered credible by many people who still refuse to believe other American heroes and authors such as James Clapper, James Comey, and Madeleine Albright when they say the same things about the horrible state in which we find our country and our democracy today.  Read this book, study this book, take it seriously, and commit its truths to your memory and your heart.  I am also choosing to close with more words from John McCain.

"If you're alarmed by our descent into all-consuming partisanship  by the fact that much of the grassroots energy in both parties is with the closed-minded absolutists on the fringes, what are you doing about it?  Are you voting in primary elections?  Are you helping choose party leaders for your county, your state?  Are you running for leadership positions yourself? Are you showing up for precinct committee meetings, district elections, town halls with your elected officials?...Play as big a role in the mundane activities of politics as the zealots do.  It's important."  McCain & Salter, p. 360. 

                                                                        

November 8, 2016--"A Date Which Will Live In Infamy"

In the election of November 8, 2016, significantly less than a majority of the voters who went to the polls in America, with the help of the electoral college system, managed to elect Donald Trump to the presidency. Based on the latest, most complete vote counts about 2.7million more people actually voted for Hillary Clinton than for Trump.  For the fifth time in American history, the losing candidate, Hillary Clinton, won more votes than the eventual winner.  Donald Trump, a Fascist, a self confessed sex offender, and a career criminal was elected.  Today, more than month after the election, hundreds of thousands of Americans are protesting in a variety of ways all over the country.  In another clear indicator of his bent toward Fascism, Donald Trump has tweeted that these are "professional protests".  We are at the beginning of the worst period in American history.

The CIA has confirmed that there is significant evidence of election hacking by the Kremlin in support of Trump.  Trump is attempting to appoint a Secretary of State, Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, who has significant earlier ties to Russia, Putin, and the Kremlin.  The senate, based on urging from Republican John McCain, is beginning an investigation of the Russian connections to the hacking.  Donald Trump, as he always does when questioned or criticized, is denying the validity of the CIA claims of hacking.  That response is exactly what any rational expert would expect from a guilty party.  The other candidates Trump has chosen for cabinet posts are a Who's Who of Right Wing Radical extremists, former Republican failures, and people with little or no experience in government service.  Nearly every candidate for a key position has expressed some desire to destroy, defame, or hamper the agency Trump has chosen them to direct.  The most experienced member of the group appears to be Elaine Chao, wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who served as labor secretary under President George W. Bush and deputy secretary of transportation under President George H.W. Bush.  However, her father is a well known Chinese billionaire who owns a large fleet of super freighters all of which have been built by suspected slave labor.  Her consideration appears to be a nod to the Chinese bankers who are purported to hold heavy loans against Trump's businesses.  Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama is Trump's choice to be attorney general.  In 1986, Sessions was denied a federal judgeship due to a history of racism.  Trump has chosen Andy Puzder, a billionaire restaurant executive as secretary of labor.  In the past, Puzder has consistently railed against the minimum wage and claimed that it is unnecessary and unfair to employers.  Betsey DeVos, a member of the DeVos family of Amway pyramid scheme fame, has been chosen as secretary of education.  She is an advocate for charter schools and has a long history of opposition to the actions of the Department of Education.  She has frequently called for the abolition of the department which she has been chosen to run.  Trump has also selected Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency.  Pruitt's claim to fame is that he has spent most of his legal career fighting the actions of the Environmental Protection Agency and has largely been responsible for the lack or regulation of the gas and oil fracking which has caused the recent epidemic of earthquakes in his home state.

This list of nominees for cabinet positions clearly shows that Trump has a plan to destroy much of the regulatory nature of American government, to abolish several key departments of government, to deny constitutional rights to workers, and to damage the federal government as much as possible.  If these nominees are actually confirmed, and most of them will be, the country is headed into a very dark and uncertain future.  It is my belief that if the Democratic party controlled as many as 45 seats in the Senate that enough rational Republicans would join them to stop several of the nominees from being confirmed.  But the Republican majority in the senate, which leans heavily to the extreme right, is highly likely to confirm all these extremists and an era of active destruction of the federal government will begin on January 20, 2017.  God Help Us All if it does. 

The quote from Franklin D. Roosevelt, our greatest president, which I have chosen to use as the title of this post, came in his speech to congress in which he asked for a declaration of war against Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  That quote came at one one of the darkest times in American history.  Today is just as dark a time for very different reasons.  The voters of America and Appalachia made a horrible mistake in this election.  Donald Trump has a thousand factors which make him unfit to be president and not a single qualifying factor.  Donald Trump used the very same platform in his election campaign which Adolph Hitler used to gain control of Germany.  In a Newsweek article from September of 2016, writer Maiken Umbach, addresses the similarities between Hitler and Trump.  In that article, Umbach points out a significant number of glaring similarities between Trump and Hitler.  

In one of the most important paragraphs of the article, Umbach points out that:

"Neither Hitler nor Trump campaign on specific policies, beyond a few slogans. Instead, both promise a new vision of leadership. They portray the existing political systems as fundamentally corrupt, incompetent, and, most importantly, unable to generate decisive action in the face of pressing problems."

The article goes on to point out how both Trump and Hitler use "highly edited accounts of their personal histories" to gain favor with electorates.  Donald Trump refused to disclose his tax returns in the election process claiming that he was under audit. A former head of the IRS publicly pointed out that a person under audit has every right to publicly disclose their taxes during the audit.  There are several theories about why Trump did not disclose his taxes including: 

1. that he was not nearly as wealthy as he has always claimed;
2. that he had not paid taxes which was proven in the one years taxes which were released;
3. that the taxes would show that he had illegal business dealings with Russia, China, Japan, and Cuba.  

Whatever the actual reasons are that the taxes were never disclosed, it is readily apparent that Trump is  hiding a great deal and none of what he is hiding is to his advantage if it were disclosed.  Also, throughout the campaign, only two world leaders ever actively promoted Trump, Kim Jung Un and Alexander Putin, the two worst dictators in the world.  Both obviously had their own reasons for doing so.  Most intelligent people believe that the most likely reason is that they are aware of Trump's incompetence and are betting that he is unable to handle the duties of the presidency.  There is no doubt that this is correct.  During the campaign, the White House stated that there was evidence that Russian hackers had hacked Democratic records in order to assist Trump.  Why would they do that?  The reason most people give is that Trump is heavily in debt to Russia and Putin.  A new theory has been put forth recently that Putin is also seeking revenge against Hillary Clinton for her prior diplomatic successes which have served to impede Putin's aggressive tendencies in several countries. 

In a Time article from August 2016, author Jeff Nesbit points out that:

"Russian intelligence agencies have allegedly recently digitally broken into four different American organizations that are affiliated either with Hillary Clinton or the Democratic Party since late May. All of the hacks appear designed to benefit Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations in one fashion or another."

Immediately after the election, a senior Russian official admitted that there had been ongoing contact between  Russia and the Trump campaign during the  election.  This is a clear violation of the Logan Act, as was Trump's contact with Mexico prior to the election.  The Logan Act prohibits anyone who is not an official of the government from attempting to engage in foreign diplomacy.  But the possible violation of the Logan Act is the least harmful possible reason for contact between Trump and Russia.  The more ominous reason would be collusion based on the debt and illegal business contacts prior to his campaign.  

Kurt Eichenwald of Newsweek has also written about illegal interaction prior to the campaign between Trump and Cuba and in his article he alleges that Trump violated the embargo of Cuba. The average, uneducated reader should know that major news organizations do not write and publish such articles as the three quoted above simply for the amusement of the authors and publishers.  Due to the possibility of litigation, they work diligently to be able to prove the information in the stories they print.  The bottom line is that there is far more than sufficient evidence that Donald Trump has frequently and recklessly dealt with foreign countries in clear violations of American laws.  Trump's willingness to violate law and common decency is not the simple kind of violations which prior public figures have been known to do.  It shows a blatant, conscious, and egregious form of behavior which was intended to benefit Trump, flout both American and international law, and borders on treason.  If Trump colluded with Putin to hack and alter election results, that action would clearly constitute treason.  

There are also a significant number of pending legal actions against Donald Trump which clearly indicate his general unworthiness to hold any public office.  The worst of these is the Trump University Case if we speak from a business sense.  This case is a fraud case under federal law which seems to clearly point out that "Trump University" was a scheme to defraud thousands of would be millionaires of their hard earned money while giving them nothing for their cash and effort.  Trump reportedly agreed to pay the plaintiffs in the Trump University case a sum of $25million to settle the case.  There is also a civil suit arising from an alleged child rape when the victim was only thirteen.  This case has been filed, dropped, and refiled and dropped yet again.  When legal cases are handled in this manner, it is sometimes an indicator that the plaintiff has been either untruthful or paid off.  We will probably never know the exact answers in this situation but it is highly unusual for a political candidate to get any votes after having been accused of a sex crime.  Donald Trump has been accused and has even admitted on tape to having committed sex crimes.  He even seems to be proud of his crimes.  

But these high profile cases are only the tip of the Donald Trump legal iceberg.  There are roughly seventy five other pending legal cases against Donald Trump for a plethora of reasons.  In the previous link, US News details these cases and the legal issues surrounding them.  There is also a lurid prior legal history of Donald Trump refusing to pay just debts with nearly 4,000 suits having been filed against him.

Donald Trump is clearly unfit to hold any public office of even the lowest importance.  His assumption of the presidency should instill terror in the heart of any rational American.  November 8, 2016, is "a date which will live in infamy".  

The Fascism Of Donald Trump

Below is an article called "The 14 Characteristics of Fascism" by Lawrence Britt in Free Inquiry Magazine on which this blog post is based.  As we continue deeper and deeper into the ongoing American constitutional crisis which has been precipitated by the TREASON of TRAITOR, International Terrorist, Russian Agent, & Quisling Trump, it becomes more and more important for every citizen of this country to become aware of the issues at stake in this horrible situation.  Since January 20, 2017, this country has allowed a known Russian collaborator, election fraudster, career criminal, TRAITOR, unconvicted sex offender, and idiot to illegally occupy the White House.  Nearly every day the legitimate news media or the federal court system report another crime from another member of this man's coterie of co-conspirators.  Nearly every day this man commits another moral, legal, and political atrocity and never seems to be held responsible for his actions.  Why?

There are a sizeable number of reasons why we have, as a nation, allowed this criminal occupation of the White House to linger almost two years.  The Right Wing Radical Repugnican majority in both houses of congress is unwilling to relinquish their ill gained power, at least some of which may well also be related to Russian interference and contributions, in order to rescue the country.  The Democratic party is outnumbered and has never had the requisite majorities in both houses of congress in order to bring about indictment and impeachment of the TRAITOR Trump.  They also seem unwilling to face the issue of impeachment out of fear of losing even more seats in congress.  While a significant portion of the electorate does support impeachment, no legitimate empirical political poll in the country has so far indicated a majority in favor of removing the TRAITOR Trump from the White House. But just today a poll from ABC News & the Washington Post found a majority of 60% disapproval of Trump's job performance in his illegally seized residence and 53% who say they strongly disapprove which is still a majority in a very empirical poll from two of the most professional and ethical news agencies in the country.  49% of those polled in the same poll also are in favor of impeachment which is only two percentage points short of a statistical majority.  Secondary to those aforementioned polling numbers, there is also a consistent 30% to 40% of the populace who are still supporting the TRAITOR Trump.  The electorate overall is poorly educated about constitutional remedies to the problems which are presented by allowing a treasonous individual to occupy the White House.  All of these factors have consistently combined to prevent the necessary actions from being taken. But this most recent poll does show that the worm has finally turned among the general electorate toward ridding the country of this treasonous conspiracy.  Also, on this same date of August 31, 2018, another of the associates of Paul Manafort has plead guilty to money laundering charges and failure to register as a foreign agent for funneling $50,000 in Ukrainian money to the Trump "inauguration committee".  We are getting closer and closer to the day when the key indictments come from the Mueller investigation which will clearly indicate to the country that Trump is a TRAITOR and a Russian Agent, no more, no less. 

Let's examine the article below point by point to discuss the multitude of ways in which the TRAITOR, International Terrorist, Russian Agent, and Quisling Trump meets the definition of a Fascist and how his Russian Owned Criminal Syndicate of co-conspirators are carrying out Fascist acts on a daily basis in America.

The first factor involved in Fascism which Mr. Britt discusses in his article is "Powerful and Continuing Nationalism".  The entire campaign and deliberately chosen public persona of TRAITOR Trump has always been based on his stated slogan of "Make America Great Again".  Do not be misled into believing that has happened or needed to happen.  The United States of America was far greater at sunrise on the morning of January 20, 2017, than it has been at any time since TRAITOR Trump was allowed to illegally occupy the White House.  The US National Debt is now $21trillion as of March 15, 2018. The national debt first hit the $20 trillion mark on September 8, 2017, according to government records. It rose more than a trillion dollars in less than six months due to TRAITOR Trump's disastrous economic actions built around and supportive of his treasonous trade war.  Nothing which is happening in the White House today is intentionally or accidentally making America great.  His frequent rantings about his love of the country and his efforts to please his Right Wing Radical supporters in the White Right are tailored in the mold of Adolph Hitler's language in Germany in the early 1930's and it has the same purposes, to instill both fear and pride in a significant portion of the electorate who by their very nature are inclined toward violence and irrationality in support of his TREASON, and to make TRAITOR Trump appear to be genuinely interested in the welfare of this nation which he has and will continue to betray on a daily basis.  His intentions are clearly Fascist.

Mr. Britt's second descriptor of Fascism is Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights and is being met on a daily basis by TRAITOR Trump and his minions.  The Zero Tolerance policy of immigration seizure and separation of children as young as two from their parents absolutely disregards the rights of those children and families to be protected even if they are being held for possible deportation.  It is both inhuman and inhumane.  It is Fascist.  His withdrawal from the United Nations Human Rights Council is clearly a blow to human rights protections worldwide and a highly public admission that he has no regard for any human no matter who they are or what their particular individual limitations might be.  His disregard for humanity and the human race in general is Fascist.  Here is a link to a lengthy list of human rights offenses committed by TRAITOR Trump and every one of these acts was Fascist.  He is a Fascist.  There is no room for argument on that point. 

Mr. Britt's third contributing factor to Fascism  is Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause. There is no particular descriptor of Fascism that better describes the TRAITOR Trump than this one.  On a daily basis, he attempts to scapegoat a variety of groups who have the best interests of the country at heart.  That list includes the Mueller investigation; the Democratic Party; the free press which is constitutionally guaranteed; immigrants; Muslims; liberals in general; anyone who expresses criticism about him or his actions; and anyone else whom he believes he can make into a victim for any of those who support him.  He uses this kind of rhetoric on a daily basis to delineate others who do not support him as being anti-American and worthy of his abuse as well as the more directly violent abuse of his radical followers.  These actions on his part are clearly Fascist and so is he.  

 Mr. Britt's fourth described element of Fascism is Supremacy of the Military.  TRAITOR Trump's use of this tactic to gain his short term goals has been clearly demonstrated throughout his illegal and treasonous rise to and abuse of power.  It is clearly copied from the actions of Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Idi Amin, Sadaam Hussein and other dictators throughout history.  While his attempt to stage a military parade in his honor was largely an attempt to make himself appear popular and powerful, it was also an attempt to terrify the entire world just as has been his repeated antagonism of any other country or leader such as Kim Jung Un or the highest officials in Canada and Iran. His stated desire for the US to maintain the world's most powerful military is not genuine in any fashion.  It is simply a Fascist attempt to induce the US citizenry and the other countries in the world that he is in control of a powerful military force and willing to use it to destroy his perceived enemies.  His repeated threats toward a variety of people, countries, and organizations as varied as North Korea, Iran, Canada, the Democratic Party, Immigrants, and Germany are clearly irrational, unjustified, terrorist, antagonistic, and Fascist.  

Mr. Britt's fifth component of Fascism is Rampant Sexism and there is no human on earth more guilty of practicing, supporting, and fomenting rampant sexism than TRAITOR Trump.  He is a misogynist and an unconvicted sex offender who has been accused of sex crimes by at least a dozen credible women.  His numerous illegal payoffs to women whom he has either had temporary liaisons with or made unwanted sexual advances toward, his widely publicized admissions on audio tape that he "moved on her like a bitch" is clearly rampant sexism and borders on sexual assault which several women have accused him of committing.  The two group photos of the White House interns have been clearly dominated by the presence of white males with unconscionably low numbers of both women and minorities. TRAITOR Trump clearly meets this descriptor of Fascism. 

Mr. Britt's sixth key factor in Fascism is Controlled Mass Media.  No legitimate leader of a civilized, democratic country would ever engage in the blatant, unceasing attacks on the honest, constitutionally guaranteed free press as is being done on a daily basis by TRAITOR Trump.  He has frequently described the free press as "the enemy of the people" when they are actually one of the strongest bastions of defense for a democratic country and that is exactly why he is so unceasing in his attacks against them.  He does not want a free press.  He does not want a democratic country.  He wants to be unfettered in his ongoing attempts to gain illegal power and to further the aims of Russia and Vladimir Putin.  These attacks on the media are unfettered Fascism and clearly indicate that the TRAITOR Trump is a Fascist. 

Mr. Britt's seventh component of Fascism is Obsession With National Security and is clearly personified in TRAITOR Trump's chosen slogan of "Make America Great Again" and in his unjustified attacks on immigrants, other countries, and our economic and political allies.  He couches his Fascism in terms which are intended to gain the support of the poorly educated and those motivated by hatred of other groups and countries. He uses these attacks to instill fear in American citizens that America might be under attack but lies daily about the source of the attack, Vladimir Putin and Russia, who own and control TRAITOR Trump. He describes many, if not most, of his attacks on others and their countries of origin as being in the best interest of America when they are only attempts on his part to gain further control of the basket of deplorables which constitutes his cult of supporters.  All these actions being falsely described by TRAITOR Trump as being intended to create a stronger America are only intended to turn his stolen power into greater power.  It is Fascism and it is deplorable.  It proves once again that TRAITOR Trump is a Fascist.

The eighth descriptor of Fascism in the Britt article is Religion and Government are Intertwined. Traitor Trump is not remotely religious and actually meets many of the descriptors of the Antichrist which I might discuss in a future blog post.  But he has managed to gain support, and perhaps control, of many media based preachers who support him because they meet one or more of the qualities I discussed in my earlier blog post "Only Four Kinds Of People".  The hatreds he endorses are similar or identical to many of the hatreds and prejudices of these monetarily centered evangelists.  They clearly fit the category of "Hypochristians".  Their attempts to destroy the Separation Of Church And State, freedom for all religions as guaranteed by the US Constitution, and to destroy a woman's right to choose give TRAITOR Trump a readily and easily activated group of people who are willing to ignore his crimes, his attacks on the US Constitution, and his lack of any form of religiosity.  His willingness to lead these people on and mislead them into supporting his ill gotten power is clearly Fascist.  

Mr. Britt's ninth component of Fascism is Corporate Power is Protected.  The so-called Trump Tax Cut was never a tax cut for the majority of the population.  It was clearly intended and the numbers have consistently proven that it had two or three goals: to open the way for unfettered corporate destruction of the US Tax Code; to further damage the country in support of Russia and the goals of Vladimir Putin; to protect the billionaires of the nation; and to mislead the majority of less well off Americans into believing that they could benefit from it. TRAITOR Trump has even ranted recently about further cuts in taxes for corporations which will further increase the national deficit, weaken the country even more, and continue to increase the national debt as discussed above. The daily destruction of the Environmental Protection Agency and all forms or regulatory controls on corporations further manifest this attempt to please the filthy rich, destroy America from within, and further the desires of Russia and Vladimir Putin.  It is clearly Fascist and just one more part of TRAITOR Trump's Russian managed plan to destroy America.  

The tenth described factor of Fascism as discussed below by Mr. Britt is Labor Power is Suppressed.  Every action taken by TRAITOR Trump with regard to working class Americans, union members, and all supporters of the right to participate in a union have been intended to destroy any rights or power which the working class has gained over the last hundred years.  He is clearly anti-labor and anti-union.  He is also clearly anti-small business as demonstrated by the fact that, in his private business, he has been sued by more than 3,500 independent small subcontractors whom he refused to pay for just debts for labor they provided to his construction projects.  It is very telling that the majority of those legal actions either were settled in favor of the plaintiffs prior to court intervention or were adjudged in their favor by the courts.  This is a Fascist disrespect of the working class.  It is clearly detrimental to labor and America.  It is Fascism and it is being practiced daily by TRAITOR Trump.

The eleventh descriptor of Fascism as described by Mr. Britt is Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts.  Although TRAITOR Trump has consistently throughout much of his life sought to be a hanger on in the world of television, theater, and music in order to be seen in the company of genuine stars, he has sought that access purely to make himself appear to be far more important than he has ever been.  He has no respect for ability to understand or support genuine intellectual pursuits or the arts.  His literacy is marginal at best as demonstrated by his speech patterns and vocabulary.  When television shows such as Saturday Night Live have parodied his ignorance and criminality, he has done exactly what he does to anyone with enough intelligence to understand his crimes and speak out against him.  He attacks in a crass, gross, unintelligent, and unrelenting manner.  His disdain for the arts and intellectual pursuits and his attempts to destroy the National Endowments For The Arts and Humanities are Fascist and intended to further damage the country as a whole.  An educated populace, an intellectual populace, a highly intelligent populace would never vote for such an idiot and TRAITOR.  His attempts to keep us uneducated and uninspired are Fascist.  He is a Fascist. 

Mr. Britt's twelfth factor of Fascism is Obsession with Crime and Punishment.   Traitor Trump frequently rants and raves about various kinds of people who are able to escape what he claims to believe are just punishments for crimes but at the same time he describes a convicted Russian collaborator such as Paul Manafort as "brave" because he refused to accept a deal with the Mueller investigation under the belief that he might not be convicted or might receive a "pardon" from this illegal occupant of the White House.  It has been made clear that TRAITOR Trump only desires to punish his enemies, critics, or honest people who question his motives not real criminals such as the gang of Russian Owned co-conspirators who have assisted him in his ongoing crime spree.  But his gullible supporters believe these lies and continue to support him just as diligently as the Brown Shirts supported Adolph Hitler.  They are Fascist and so is TRAITOR Trump. 

The thirteenth component of Fascism which Mr. Britt describes below is Rampant Cronyism and Corruption. The Washington post stated in this story before the full gang of co-conspirators of TRAITOR Trump took up residence in the White House that they constituted the Worst Cabinet In American History and they were correct.  If you closely examine the closest, most relied upon associates of TRAITOR Trump it is clear that criminality was considered to be a job qualification as they were selected to join his Russian Owned Criminal Syndicate.  The cited news article preceding this sentence was actually written in early 2017, more than a year ago, and even more ties between TRAITOR Trumps co-conspirators and Russia are being revealed just as they were on this date, August 31, 2018, when Sam Patton plead guilty to funneling Ukrainian money to the TRAITOR Trump "inauguration committee".  We may well not know the full range of collusion, cooperation, and criminality between TRAITOR Trump and Russia until a totally new, legally, duly elected presidential administration regains control of the country, if we survive as a country.  These crimes, these criminals, these connections are a prime indicator of the Fascism of TRAITOR Trump and his co-conspirators.

The fourteenth and final element of Fascism discussed below by Mr. Britt is Fraudulent Elections.  God help us all as we fight this crime spree which was based on a stolen presidential election and the illegal occupation of the White House which was engineered by Vladimir Putin and Russia.  Since November 8, 2016, "a date which will live in infamy" for another thousand years if democracy survives these criminals.  As soon as the occupation of the White House began in January 2017, TRAITOR Trump attempted to create his fraudulent "election fraud commission" which eventually found no organized fraud in American elections other than that perpetrated by Russia, Vladimir Putin, and TRAITOR Trump.  The so called commission was eventually disbanded without being able to justify whatever imagined plans they were created upon to destroy democracy in America.  We see Right Wing Repugnican attempts to gerrymander elections in nearly every state in the union.  We know that Russia has attempted to hack state election commissions in nearly every key state in the union.  We see daily attacks on voters of color, minorities in general, the disabled, the educated, the poor, the intelligent and that is all Fascist and all fomented by TRAITOR Trump, his Russian Owned Criminal Syndicate, Russia, and Vladimir Putin.

There is no doubt that America is being held hostage by a rouge band owned by Vladimir Putin and Russia and being led by TRAITOR Trump and his Russian master.  When will America wake up?  I am not sure.  Will America and American Democracy survive?  I hope so but don't know.  Neither do you, dear reader.  Neither do you!  So, when will you begin to Stand Up, Speak Up, and Speak Out in defense of America and American Democracy and call for the indictment, conviction, impeachment, and imprisonment of the TRAITOR, International Terrorist, Russian Agent, and Quisling Trump? 

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism by Lawrence Britt Spring 2003 Free Inquiry magazine

Political scientist Dr. Lawrence Britt recently wrote an article about fascism ("Fascism Anyone?," Free Inquiry, Spring 2003, page 20). Studying the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia), and Pinochet (Chile), Dr. Britt found they all had 14 elements in common. He calls these the identifying characteristics of fascism. The excerpt is in accordance with the magazine's policy.
The 14 characteristics are:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
   Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
   
   
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
   Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
   
   
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
   The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
   
   
4. Supremacy of the Military
   Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
   
   
5. Rampant Sexism
   The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.
   
   
6. Controlled Mass Media
   Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
   
   
7. Obsession with National Security
   Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
   
   
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined
   Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
   
   
9. Corporate Power is Protected
   The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
   
   
10. Labor Power is Suppressed
    Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .
    
    
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
    Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.
    
    
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment
    Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
    
    
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
    Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
    
    
14. Fraudulent Elections
    Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
